Theories on Future Changes to SFV?

I’m not sure if that’s a good idea. Having multiple VT’s and CA’s.

I’m more sure about the multiple Critical Arts then I am the multiple V-Triggers, honestly I’d be fine with just 2 Critical Arts, one V-Trigger is enough, plus it’s a new mechanic, so they won’t be as motivated to make a second V-Trigger as they would a second Critical Art, since the series has a history of multiple Supers. P.S.- That’s some great fan art.

What i meant to say is if Ryu got evil ryu as his v trigger, and a new shoryuken critical art would I be able to mix and match denjin v trigger with the new critical art? Or would the pairing only be between evil ryu and the new critical art. I’d imagine the combination of v trigger, and critical art may be difficult to balance so im curious as to what their plan is.

Future additions:

  • Selectable supers (Capcom isn’t new to this, as seen in 3S and SF4)
  • V-Triggers further altering the already extising supers (Ryu: Shinku -> Denjin)
  • More stages
  • Stage interactions
  • Expansion to the networking and online modes
  • Frame data adjustments (duh)
  • Alternate V-Reversals (possibly selectable as well?)
  • Overhauls of the game’s UI (menus, select screen, ingame bars)

Hmm yeah I could see more CA’s. But I’m still not sure if it’s a good idea. I mean like a SF…wait…that game is done nvm. looks at SF3 I think it can work. VT’s though? I think one is all we need. I don’t want capcom to start digging too deep into this mechanic.

You like this fan art eh? One of my favs.

I agree, multiple V-Triggers would probably be too much.

Thanks for the response, those are some really good ideas!

Oh, I see what you’re saying. If that happened then they would most likely let you mix and match, Critical Art 1 with new V-Trigger, Critical Art 2 with old V-Trigger, but that’s assuming they give characters two V-Triggers, which I don’t find as likely.
