Magnus combo into Tempest DHC Gamma Crush == GGPO. Instant dead character since the Crush hits twice unscaled. Looks crazy.
Yipes really likes Morrigan/Sentinel/Tron, and JustinK has his bag of Morrigan/Sonson tricks. Darkness Illusion off of Sonson is hilarious.

Indeed. Sonson/Anakaris is great. over half damage per combo off Sonson assist each time, unless you hit sentinel. Anakaris is hella hard to learn, though.
My tip- Morrigan plays best with high-damage, knock-down assists that you can OTG super on. Hulk can be good with an assist like Iron Man, sonson, and similar characters that hold your opponent up in the air for a second.

Do you DHC immediately or do you have to wait for rocks to hit? Sucks if you gotta wait… If you don’t couldn’t you just skip the HG and just do tempest and DHC within the first frame?
I"ve not tried it, but in theory, it sounds like the rocks’d be holding them in place (with hits) so that Hulk can jump and come down.
other notible setups are Ken’s Tatsumaki Assist, Storm’s Big Typhoon, and Doom Rocks.
PErsonally, I’ve done it off of a Strider Bird assist.

Both of the first two matches have it. The last two matches have the Magnus THCing (Magnetic Shockwave + Gamma Crush + Captain Sword) for a nice All Life combo.

Any speculation as to whether it’ll be a restricted set of colors per game disk? Or will you be able to customize colors and bring it with you on a VMU? If it’s the latter, I would just make all my characters silhouettes so that my opponent has a harder time figuring out what normals I’m performing during rush-downs. 'F aesthetics, I’m pouring Velveeta.
I would like to finally be able to color coordinate my Cable and Storm with HK Sentinel. Gotta give them all black outfits and glowing green eyes. Wow, such a sense of pride. This must be what it’s like to have children.
Not sure if people have seen this before, or how old it is. That’s hardcore right there.
It’s a palette change, so it’s the same as tweaking the music or any other binary resource in the game. So: no. Yeah, black, white, and red was pretty much the requested color for everybody.

OK, I have MvC2 with a black Magnus and Cable now - played it this morning to verify, looks good. Further goodness supposedly coming later this week, hopefully. :tup:
