Zero (Ryuuenjin)/ Zero (Jam session) / Zero (Rapid slash)
if only…
thats cute ;__;
combine my mixups, avarice’s and jago’s and you will have the most disgusting mixups you’ve ever seen. too bad theres no footage of me playing, maybe this weekend at mat. jago does this thing with jam session where he calls it, does j.m L hienkyaku three times then jumps up and buster cancels M hienkyaku… its disgusting
zero dante vergil is and will always be better than zero dante magneto. ZDV is the best team imo.
i remember saying this to people for months awhile ago, for so many reasons outside of combos, alot didn’t agree, though i know alot of zero players here have realized this for awhile.
vergils anchor capabilities compared to magnetos is…phenomenal.
While vergil is a better anchor with Dante already included magneto does more for zero than vergil does. On top of that Dante Magneto > Dante Vergil.
Im sure Frieda will prove me right at evo.
yes i def agree mag does more for zero than vergil, but you already have dante assist for zero, so to me at that point, the priority lies more on having the solid anchor, rather than having 2 good assists for zero.
That is valid by why not have a even solid secondary and a solid anchor with very good synergy. Yipes does so much damage with the Dante magneto combo.
I just checked you page masablade and i don’t think it was you who did those mix-ups i was referring to. A while back i saw a video where the zero played would call Dante M teleport , then when Dante pushes the character out jumps up and L teleports, its disgusting. Then i came up with my own which is even more disgusting which is when Dante’s jam sessions pushes the character out do a tiger knee raikousen for the worlds most disgusting cross-up. Have at it.
I just also happened to search Frieda for anything recent to learn from and he really puts jam session to work.

that was felinoter, im pretty sure everyone has found those though… theyre just not practical.
I use them all the time why aren’t they practical?
what are the chances of them blocking a jam session and you being far enough ahead of them to actually set up an ambigious mixup with the pushback of the assist
I use it as a block string. M + H+ Assist 1 + Medium teleport. That’s a true block string where you can go into all of your various options and for the most part is push block proof. And you always get the push back so you can always follow up.
the people i play pushblock cr.m everytime, theres no reason not to… which is why most zeros have abandoned that crossup in favor of releasing the buster to return to a neutral state where zero is SAFE as opposed to getting pushblocked, going through with your mixup and getting punished hard.
Yea i guess so but if they pushblock the medium and your assist comes out you are still safe with the buster cancel unless they have a invincible super.
OMG THAT GUYS AMMY! I want mines to be like that so bad
C’mon man, are you kidding me? Just use s.:h: + Jam Session for that. The pushblock is minimum and gives you enough time to even dash TK :l: Setsuizan and go for an instant overhead.
this, if youre gonna do a crossup do it off something raw
it bothers the crap out of me that Frieda still uses air buster -> L raikousen as a frequent approach; that unsafe shiz gets blown up so hard >_>
Yea its pretty bad but he does have this sick hit confirm going off of a air H though. Not that you said this but if the people you play push block the medium they probably wont let you get a raw s.H.
I realized you don’t have to use lightning loops to win with Zero. If you have the right team synergy you can still be god like. XD
I’m one of those guys who doesn’t like to rely on lightning loops due to how tiring it is to perform constantly.
You don’t have to use lightning loops if a) you have two extender assists, which is usually enough to kill most characters or b) you go for resets instead, which is actually pretty easy.
not using LL’s is limiting the hell out of your team. sure you can have 2 extenders for those situations where your getting an entire combo instead of a random hit confirm, but still, even then your probably gonna use a bar to finish em’. just learn to consistently LL, i wanted to do the same thing with zero when i couldn’t LL (learn resets and super long extended combos to sub for LL’s) and it’s just alot of extra effort for being too lazy to learn
