Thanks for linking that.

I haven’t watched or paid attention to nxt in a few years

Mercedes must be real pissed at Kacy acting like a dumbass throughout this whole thing.

WWE really should just let Ali be this generation’s version of Muhammad Hassan. A heel that really isn’t a heel but is actually straight spitting facts. It won’t happen, but I can dream a little.

No he should be this gens punk. The way he speaks on racial inequalities, trying to make a better living for all and pushing for opportunities. He doesn’t need to be hassan and leaning into the American fear aspect. I don’t personally think the hassan idea is something you can ever get away from. But the stuff Ali is talking about is stuff we can all relate to. It’s all stuff that we can still be behind when he transitions to face. His way of fighting for it may be wrong but the message itself won’t ever be

Honestly ali would be cheered going live

He was waster as one of the best faces on the roster.

And wasted as a great cm punk better than you heel. He us cm punk new nexus status

Was gonna ask are The Acclaimed heels or faces now, but AEW doesn’t really care about things like that

Def heels

Jesus fucking Christ I’m drowning in my own tears from laughing so hard

The more i see thunder rosa the more i fall

Well they’re feuding against Jericho/MJF, they cut a promo and wrestled like faces on today’s AEW. So it threw me off

She fucking him up on sight.:rofl::rofl:

Nice ciampa jobs without kicking out of finishers again.

I think i could get back into him.

Gargano on the other hand…

As a Punk fan, he schtick was never talking about inequalities even as a heel. There have been stories about him sticking up for people backstage and in some interview publications but that’s never been his character onscreen compared to say. The closest we’ve seen a character talk about race, racial injustices or the societal perception of someone who is brown has been NOD, Harlem Heat/Booker-T and Muhammad Hassan.

Also to clarify my previous post; Ali doesn’t need to be a character that plays up American fears post 9/11 like Muhammad Hassan’s character. But when he’s talking about him not fitting “the demographic” or him shooting shots at people who display some manner of prejudice on social media can be the base he builds off. Go back and listen to those old Hassan promos and what he’s saying is way more relatable to injustices in the country than you remember. For instance:

He’s Def had aspects about inequalities. Mostly from. The job aspect. He was a matryr sacrificing himself. So others could have the opportunities that the man wouldn’t let them have. Ie. Glass ceiling discussion. This was a theme as a face and heel.
