I’m assuming the announce team will consist of Booker T, Matthews and Stryker.
JR calling the Cole vs Lawler match in a non PG setting would be pretty damn hilarious. Especially if Cole managed to win. I know JR won’t likely call 'Mania, but it would be fun to see him interfere in the match, considering Swagger will probably do the same.
But, if Austin is the guest referee, that might throw that idea out the window.
I wish Vince would bring JR back at least for the PPV’s. He has been the voice for the WWE for a long ass time despite all the shit he’s been through with the company.

Yeah, I mean I was dissing his feud with Taker…just because we’ve done that so many times before and they can’t carry it like they used to. But Kane’s one of the hardest workers in WWE, and he deserved the title reign he got. It was a travesty that they almost let him retire with nothing but a one day WWE title reign.

There were a lot of pages to read over, but I remembering seeing that Danielson isn’t that good of a wrestler and CM Punk is less credible than the Miz. 
Even just judging from WWE, I don’t see how anyone can talk badly about Danielson’s actual ability. Guy has had the best match on the card for a few PPVs with the curtain jerker match, has basically lead some guy’s like Dibiase and Dolph to having the best matches they’d had in WWE yet by far, and has had some entertaining more crazy matches like that 3 way with Morrison and Miz.
CM Punk is Jesus Christ. Basically. If you don’t like CM Punk based on his body of work/promos so far, I don’t know what to tell you.
I can see how one wouldn’t be impressed by Danielson/Punk if they skipped watching WWE after Attitude up until now. After sifting through the shit of the HHH-Cena era, Punk, Danielson, and most of the newer blood is a breath of fresh air.
I could see Punk more than holding his own in the Attitude Era. Think of the heat he would get leading Right to Censor or Corporate Ministry …

Yup. They tried to turn him heel twice. The second time was hilarious, because he built his own announcing table and Dr. Death just squashed random people.
If JR ever returned Michael Cole should do the same thing.

That is a possibility. But wouldn’t that just mean your standards have been lowered a lot so that the ring work hasn’t actually been that great but you’re just more impressed now?
Also I’m not sure I agree because even post-Attitude era Angle, Brock, Eddie, Jericho and Benoit were all putting on great matches for awhile. I missed most of them, but I did catch a few. I read recaps for awhile after I stopped watching.
It just boggles my mind that people can look at Bryan’s WWE-work–on RAW and the PPVs—thus far and try to claim it’s been great stuff. If that’s really all he’s capable of…then man this guy is overhyped as all hell and really not that good.
It makes me just think that his fans are all anti-mainstream people that liked him just because he wasn’t in WWE.
I was a huge RVD fan in ECW and even still cheered for him early on in his WWE run. But I can admit he kinda sucks now and has sucked for awhile. In fact, I question now myself if he ever really was that good…but I know he certainly wasn’t in WWE and definitely not in TNA (although I don’t watch TNA anyway now).
I don’t know why you guys can’t respect my opinion, if you’re going to be that way all you’re going to do is ruin any intelligent debate and opinions. Eh, I just think the problem is with WWE-style of work in general. You can name plenty of good workers that were stifled whenever they worked for Vince. While I agree that Punk/Danielson’s WWE work hasn’t blown me away in general, I can’t say that they have sucked either. What can you really do with 5 minute matches on Raw or whatever they are given? I would say that compared to others that work with similar restrictions, they are mostly better and definitely no worse that anyone else. Even still, there are spots where these guys are allowed to flourish and their brilliance is displayed - look to the Danielson/Miz/Morrison 3-way match last year on PPV for a good example of that, or even just the Danielson-Miz matches. For Punk, all I need to do is to look at his (WW)ECW days. I thought his work was excellent with a variety of opponents because he was allowed to be a star on that show. He was just as good if not better when feuding with Jeff Hardy in 2009. Are you saying his work sucked then too?
I mean, would anyone really enjoy watching guys like James Gibson (Jamie Noble), WGTT, RVD, etc with the WWE handcuffs on over what they have done elsewhere? Of course not if you know that they can and have been capable of better. Danielson and Punk already have and likely will again someday display their incredible ability in WWE. I know that they are both too good to not have that happen, even with the handcuffs on. Plus they are both over right now already even without the main event spot. That spot is probably what they will need since it’s not like WWE allows the mid card to shine and grow over time now like they did years ago. It’s a different ball game now.
I’m going to disagree with you on that. I’m not sure what the exact restrictions are now in WWE, but whenever I watch good old matches, minus a couple of moves, its shows its possible to still carry a good match in with restrictions. Because, back then, no one was doing anything over the top, just solid wrestling.
