Day 2 of the tournament.
Mustache Mountain vs. Undisputed was awesome. The crowd was in the palms of their hands the entire match.
I feel bad for Killer Kelly and Charlie Morgan for having to follow that tag match. The crowd tried to get into but just couldn’t. The pacing for the match was really weird too. I couldn’t get into the match.
Mark Andrews vs Travis Banks vs. Flash Morgan Webster vs Noam Dar
Nice to see Noam Dar back I guess? I forgot all about him to be honest. This was a good match. Everyone looked strong, every got their shit in and the ending was fine.
Wolfgang vs Adam Cole time!
That was a fine match. They had really good chemistry. Wolfgang is pretty good too. Adam Cole is stupid over. Easily the most over guy on the nxt roster.
Black and Ricochet vs Dream and ec3 was really good until the finish. I didn’t like the finish at all but at the same time it didn’t make anyone look weak so I don’t mind it I guess.
Toni storm vs Baszler was OK. I like working over the body part in matches if they’re a submission wrestler. So what if it’s old school? What’s wrong with that? The finish was fine too. No one looked weak.
Gibson vs Dunne was solid. Lots of good back and forth. And what do you know? More of a submission wrestler working on the body part the submission is based around. And it worked! Who’dda thunk it? Oh yeah, wresting 101 for decades. All-in-all a great match.
UK Roster is stacked. The only thing I’m sad about is I didn’t get to see El Ligero wrestle In the tournament
It worked, except for the part where Dunne escaped it twice. It actually ended up making the Shangley (sp?) Gate look much weaker compared to how much of a destroyer it had been yesterday. It couldn’t beat someone who’s shoulder was fucked, compared to yesterday when it was putting everyone out almost instantaneously.
How Shayna did her shit was better, because she worked over OTHER body parts to make it much harder to escape her hold.
damn how deep did this fuckin dog bite him. are police dogs easily agitated? like if hes just sniffing bags is it easily spooked by people doin normal shit?
Apparently Lars Sullivan broke his jaw at some point during his match with Aleister Black. Sucks but could be a blessing in disguise. With guys like Sullivan you don’t want to over expose them because it exposes all their short comings and what they need to work on. It happened with Corbin and hopefully won’t happen to Lars cause he’s a good big dude
