Punk should finally realize he has no place in MMA. Now if he’s willing to do nothing and just retire for the rest of his life, he’s set. Otherwise All In suddenly looks a lot more appealing on his end.
He’s likely done in UFC, but he’ll probably keep trying in MMA.
He can go write comic books and sign autographs on the side or whatever but I’d be shocked if he went back to wrestling.

The perfect would would see him drop off the face of the Earth (not die or anything, just cut himself off of all media availability) for good while he lives a quiet life removed from all the toxicity that plagued him since he was a late teenager.
I have absolutely no reason to believe that he’ll do that. At most he’ll chill for a couple of months with nothing going on anyway before finding some other way to get back into some spotlight.

No, do NOT give me that shit. I don’t want to hear “Oh, he just tried something, you should respect him for giving his full effort even if he failed”. No, he could’ve done it the right way and gone to smaller MMA promotions. I won’t blame him for not getting on smaller UFC Cards and prelims because that’s 100% on Dana’s desperation, but he had no business being in UFC to begin with and he knows it.
This was 100% an Ego Trip that was exactly the same thing he always gave shit to WWE for doing. I’m saying the same shit I said the last fight he had. I don’t give him an ounce of respect for taking a spot from guys who actually belong in the business and worked their asses off to get a place on a card. And now his ass is lying in a hospital because UFC was so desperate to have Punk win and be a draw for them that they gave him an opponent that refused to finish him so he could soak up as much spotlight as possible since Jackson probably will never get a shot like this again.
He wants to have a quiet life? I’d like to see him back that up for once. He’s certainly more than entitled to it. But I’m sure as fuck not going to give him ANY respect for “trying UFC”. Fuck no.

I wonder what kind of legal hoops both sides had to jump through to make such a crossover work. It’s good business for all involved but I don’t think Vince was 100% on board with the idea.
There wouldn’t be any hoops to jump through as these guys ain’t wrestling each other. They can be televised being in the same room together if it’s just video games.
