AEW should not scoop up every WWE firing unless it’s someone that is valuable. Just throwing random names out, but if they picked up guys like Ascension or Dillinger, it’ll be eeeeehhhh. Picking up Ambrose or Usos will raise some eyebrows. However, I wouldn’t mind if they got a “could have been” if they really see potential with that wrestler.
But please please please AEW, do not have every ex-WWE people cut anti-WWE promos. That’s no fun.
Be banked rolled by a gullible mark with a blank check until it gets so overbloated with talent and harbors so many gigantic egos it collapses in on itself?
Again, TJP is nothing of value lost. The only reason he was the inaugural champ was because Metallic wouldn’t fully commit to the E yet and they couldn’t lock down ibushi or ZSJ. He probably wasn’t even in the running to win the title until they knew their top 3 prospects wouldn’t commit to wwe.
I have nothing against TJP. He did some awesome stuff when EVOLVE first started and he was overall decent in the Indy’s but he didn’t do anything worth noting in wwe except being gifted the cruiserweight title and then lose it in one of the most gullible white meat baby faces way possible.
Lol. Apparently unlike Tye and KENTA (so glad I get to call him that again. I always hated his “company name”) TJP did not ask for his release. In fact just this most in a recent interview he was asked if he’d ever jump or if he currently has any desires to be anywhere else he said “Never. Now that I’m here I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else. I want to be a lifer. In front and behind the camera”
I liked Tye dillinger a lot. Blaming talent for issues in creative is somw buffoonery. A vast amlunt of the problem WWE has is due to their inability to program correctly
All of these solid mid card guys are just left in the locker room instrad of being given fun programs.
