Overall was very fun to attend. Was a little longer than I was expecting. Most of the matches were great… Sadly the AJ/Bryan match was a fucking snooze fest but I do question if that was because we were still in Rumble mode from the Womans just before but the way it ended made it even worse.
The Nia thing was cool and dumb at the same time but felt like she could of replaced like a random jobber like Titus or something and it would of had the same effect. Also so many people were pissed that Cena really didn’t show, seriously so many people around me and as I was leaving.
This might sound crazy but I actually thought the woman’s RR was better than the men’s. The Womans at least left it kinda open to who could win(even after Lynch went in) but the men’s felt obvious it was going to be Strowman and either Orton/Rollins and minus Jeff Jarrett it left something to be desired.
Im not shocked a woman was in the male Royal Rumble, im shocked they actually let the guys snuff her out. She caught an RKO and ate a superkick, unheard of in PG WWE
Honestly I feel like New Bryan vs AJ came across as a dud was due to how exhausted the crowd was after being white-fucking-hot for the Women’s Royal Rumble. Especially everything post Becky Lynch entering herself into the match.
Also, someone had to be the cool down match. They weren’t going to give that honor to an attraction like Lesnar. So New Bryan and AJ unfortunately had to take one for the team.
Also, yeah. The ending was questionable. Rowan as New Bryan’s heater is just…odd? Last time we saw Rowan he fucking dismantled Bryan so it’s odd that they’re now in cahoots with each other. Hopefully the upcoming SDL will explain.
Not near popular discussion. But why are they still treating Tyson like a joke? He’s like a good black man who can be a good role model for other young black fans.

Edit: Jarrett has had his legends contract updated to a full time contract. He will be a producer as well as have an on-camera roll with the company. Which brand he will be on has yet to be determined.
