Edit: More and more news about the revival wanting out.
The reason they’ve asked for their release outside of generally being uphappy with how they’re booked is because they think tag divisions on the main roster are an after thought or a complete joke to the company and creative.
From not pushing Gallows and Anderson despite them being pushed as “Major” Signees when they debuted to AOP Losing Paul Ellerig and being replaced by a manager who literally pissed himself on national tv to Chad and Roode being booked in cut-a-way matches.
Also major complaints from the revival have been lack of creative input or thought process in general when it comes to the division, lack of promo time or any real feuds.
As I mentioned earlier they’ve told the company they either want to be released from their contracts (which as of now wwe has denied due to fear of them going to roh or AEW when their 90 days expired) or they want to be “demoted” back to nxt.
It’s already known that Vince is not a fan of tag team wrestling…
The Revival’s complaints are valid.
Which is the opposite of HHH’s philosophy. He fucking loves tag teams and stables. He feels they’re absolutely vital to building new stars

You can’t be too surprised about WWE being cautious with Revival. It seems that everytime they try to do a program with them one of them always ends up injured.
That was way back when they debuted though. They started them strong by annihilating the new day but iirc Dash got a torn bicep or something? Which sucked. When they came back I think Dawson broke his jaw. So they’ve had their set backs sure. But when they do let them shine they prove that they are arguably the best tag team in the world right now. They deserve a mega push.
Plus it’s bullshit that people like Ambrose and Rollins can get injured with no recourse but if member of a tag team or stable gets hurt they’re considered “unreliable”. It’s fucking stupid.
and before you say it, I know Bobby fish fucked up his knee and the Undispited Era are still getting mega pushed but to not use them or misuse them would make the nxt universe turn on the product. They’re the most over faction and wrestlers in general nxt has had since probably Sami Zayn.
