He outright said “I’m still Chairman and CEO of WWE and that’s not changing anytime soon”.
Being open to it is just smart business with Disney buying fucking everything out there, who knows what kind of offer can be given to him.

I like to think Vince learned from his XFL mistakes 17 years ago. If he keeps it separate from WWE and does not go at the NFL, he might have a shot at being reasonable successful with this.

Pretty much. They subtly tried to split them up a couple of times (I say subtly because they were far less subtle with Paige/ADR, at least they get to stay on the same brand and Rusev gets Total Divas time).
Though truthfully they’ve seemed to cool off on it a bit. Allowing them together on MMC is a good step forward.
