Honestly though so far Baron has been a bad winner for MITB, no one cares he barely gets a reaction no matter where he goes.
New Day vs Usos was really good though, great opening match and while I was hoping the Usos would win no complaints. This is one of the few matches that made Xavier look strong.

Yeah they are kinda dropping the ball on Naks. It’s also weird that they aren’t showcasing and explaining the strong style to the audience. Nakamura should be just rekting fools straight up till he meets AJ.
Because if you try to explain what strong style is, you will always have to explain why not everyone uses it, and if not everyone uses it…what’s the entire point of being in a combat sport if you’re not using strong style?

Kinda agree with that. I thought Baron was the best for the case because he needed it the most. Thought Nakamura wouldn’t need it because they won’t be able to fuck him up sigh. Smackdown needs to hide from the eye of SaurVince.
Nakamura just trolling everyweek with the case would have been great. He could have been the case holder who never loses.
It books itself to, you build him up with fake turn ins and have him do things like knee strike people and walk away or something similar. Part of the issue is Shinsuke (and honestly Baron) work better as Tweeners who are neither face or heel.
I feel Nakamura would work better as an attraction. He’s not someone you should use every week.

Corbin is tailor made to be a tweener with that lone wolf persona. They should pair him up against heels from time to time. I wonder if they’ll let Shin act more tweenerish down the road. Keeping him as a kid/casual friendly, watered down ‘Artist’ is just wasting him.
