Sounds about right. There are countless stories of ideas people have pitched Vince that he politely ignores, then turns around and acts like he thought of 'em, and eventually ruins them.

No…that’d be stupid. Sure it’d get them out of their TV contract but if their show sucks no one’s gonna buy the Network which completely defeats the purpose.
From what I can remember Shane’s idea was for ECW to be a developmental brand with episodes that could be streamed online, it basically would have been a prototype of FCW and later NXT. By far Shane’s most interesting proposal in hindsight was his suggestion to buy UFC, granted this was well prior to it blowing up (no one could have expected how big it would’ve gotten) and it still would have required a lot of work/money to get to that stage so I get why they didn’t do it.

Also in G1 news (this won’t need a spoiler as this happened during an unimportant tag match), Tama Tonga also seeming unamused about Kenny right now. Growing discontent in BC about Kenny being about himself and the Elite more than the entire group.
The irony is, that HEINOUS ACT OF MURDER may be one of two points that will cause the fall of Kenny Omega from the BC. Because LIJ is about to be out for FUCKING BLOOD and while Tama let it cool after the match, he’s made it clear that he doesn’t want Kenny Omega as the leader of BC anymore.
Also at this point, I don’t think ANYTHING short of the OWA can put down Okada for a 3 count. It’s just absurd at this point.
