I’ll start it off by giving you my list, but I’ll add to it when I get contributions from you guys. If you want to place your vote, post the character name you’re voting for, and bold your selection for best in the world. Example: Ryu: **Daigo Umehara. **Feel free to discuss other players you think might be the tops, but I’ll only count the one you bolded. Cant remember the name of the Dictator I was thinking about though, seen him a couple of times, once on shadowloo showdown I believe, might be from singapore or korea. The problem with a thread like this is a lot of people aren’t really informed enough about 1 character to judge who is the best, so they just pick whoever has the biggest name, or who they are familiar with. You also have people being mentioned for characters who don’t even play those characters now. It’s just sort of a waste.

Popularity contests with no objective baseline to follow on from ignorant people.

The purpose of the thread isn’t to definitively show who’s the best at each character, it’s to poll the forum. It’s hypothetically useful for newcomers, since it could expose them to names they’ve never heard before.

And you don’t have to still be maining that character to be the best in the world with him/her.

They would be better off checking the japanese rankings or the XBL/PSN leaderboards for that. None of the players mentioned in this thread so far are really out there picks

You probably should be tbh. Alioune’s Cammy was nice… in Super, but it’s hard to know if his AE Cammy is as good as say OdinSin’s who is a monster when you have a smaller sample size to work off of.
