Some wishlisting for me:

Tekken has a rich history of stages and sound tracks. I’d like to see some more Tekken style stages and soundtrack throwbacks. At least the traditional dark skyscraper office.

Street Fighter:

When animating Akuma’s tag-out, use the Ashura teleport animation for style. I’d also like to see him have a mean invincible Shun Goku Satsu with big damage this time, unlike SSF4. (be it a secret 3 meter Super if it must)

Looking at the latest footage,(following the gem system trailers) the damage reductions might be a little too far for my taste. A solid 40% is healthy damage for a good combo or super in a tag game.

From Tekken I guess I would like to see Xiao Yu cause I’ve played her the few times I’ve tried a Tekken, but I’m not really a big Tekken player or anything so maybe there are better choices.

There are no better choices than Karin.

I’m confused as to what Capcom is trying to accomplish. They give us the Jem system, but they leave us with more questions than answers.

I just hope there is an option to have a no gem mode because I feel all the efforts in balancing will be pointless otherwise. Not only that, but at least you cover a lot of bases without alienating any particular audience.

Honestly I feel that Capcom has really missed an opportunity. SFxT is all about 2character partnerships. Why not add the 2 of the most well known character teams from SF: Yun+Yang (don’t really care for em but honestly not putting em in is kind of silly given the nature of the game.) Cody+Guy (next to Ken+Ryu it is the most well known character relationship in the series in terms of rivalry/partnership.)

Makoto+??? (I really was disappointed they didn’t go with the obvious Makoto + Ibuki team which would have kicked ass both thematically and gameplay wise they compliment each other fairly well. Rolento and Ibuki are too similar in terms of their weaknesses and strengths.)
Gouken+Akuma (never happen but I can dream :P)
Joe + Mike (biggest surprise that they could possibly do.)

from Tekken side (which I unfortunately don’t know as well as SF)

A few things I’d like to see:

  • Battlelog for offline matches too, not just online
  • Intuitive button configuration like HDR, Blazblue that lets you save a lot of time. If I see one more time a sf4-like button configuration, I’m gonna have to think that everyone at Capcom is reterded
  • A good in-depth tutorial for people new to fighting games (take a look at blazblue to see what I mean)

Will it be a better online experience playing Peer2Peer or of capcom servers. My internet speed is 20MBS i just wish what ever capcom does it’s not as bad as MvC3.
