Ideas for Stages to add to MvC3
Mine is Wakanda

I made a Suggestion in the Capcom box to add WAKANDA from Marvel. It’s Marvels most High-tech country and a colorful Jungle. It would have been a really cool and beautiful stage. Here’s a Pic. It would be great to see Storm fighting in her homeland

They’re never going to make it in, but I will forever have Vanessa Z. Schneider and Garcian Smith on my DLC wishlist.

As for things that might be remotely possible:
There have been a lot of comment from Seth and Niitsuma about the fan demand for Phoenix Wright. So it will be interesting to see if they can make him work as a fighting game character.

So, are you seriously suggesting that two Strider hypers make him play completely differently (hyperless) than Dante? Mmm, ok. And it’s not like anyone seriously played him without Doom anyway, so it wasn’t just “Strider play” it was “Strider/Doom” which won’t work in this game even if he was in. You really need to look a lot more at what Strider has and what Dante has. They aren’t identical, but they are extremely similar. And yes, Phoenix is also a lot like Strider on a technical level, even if they don’t really have a similar playstyle.

How come I havent heard anything about cyclops? he was a main competitor in mvc2, and doesnt seem like anyone cares to lose him? I don’t really care I love seeing new people but just surprised me I havent seen anyone say anything

I hope for frank west in the dlc… Does anyone know if after the 2 secret dlc’s, is that it?

I kind of agree that he’s not necessary at all, and really is just a glorified shoto…even if he was the best shoto.

I mean he was okay, I was just confused as to how other people not talking about him can be a bother. I’ve been on a hyper analyst binge lately. People’s behavior is making so curious all of a sudden.

EDIT: For the record I would like to see him back, he’s pretty iconic on the X-Men side of things.

Also like I asked, are we getting more dlc than the 4 characters we know about?

The rumor mill that ‘reported’ about Elektra and Frank also mentioned an even number of extra slots (heard 4 from one source, 6 in another). All the rumor stems from a hacker so accepting it is about as wise as taking a pirate at his word. But then again it seems like a silly thing to lie about.

We’ll see.

Don’t get me wrong; I don’t like Dante either, but Dante playstyle reminds me of MVC2 Strider minus the Phobos. Projectiles, Rushdown, teleport mixups, and crescent slashes. At the end of the day, they’re both designed to rush you down and slice you up.

But don’t mind me, I just hate characters with blades; makes it hard for my grappler mains to grapple.

Game Features: I’d love to see the following.

  • Replay Mode: SSF4 did this feature very well. I want to see something like that return.
  • Proper spectator modes.
  • Rematch option online.

Specials
:qcf:+:atk:- Hex Bolt, fires three hex bolts in front of her with short distance to about mid screen, on goes diagonal up, forward, and diagonal down, air okay, different strength changes property of hex bolt

:l: low damage, quick startup and no recovery, easy to rapid fire
:m: The hex bolt upon impact causes an explosion knocking the opponent down, if guarded cancels the explosion.
:h: The hex bolt hits but the explosion is delayed and causes a launch type of impact. Guarding cancels the delayed impact

:qcb:+:atk:- Chaos counter, performs a counter using chaos magic, :m: works against projectiles, :l: works against non cinematic melee super
:l:- does a quick burst that knocks the opponent down, little damage :m:- Causes the opponent to spontaneous combust dealing good damage, and launching them :h:- Teleports the opponent to the otherside of the screen but smallest attack frame

:hcf:+:atk:-Hex sphere, creates a concentrated sphere of chaos magic Air okay
:l:- Creates the sphere closerange, biggest hitbox of the three
:m:- Creates a trap in midair that activates and does medium damage, small hitbox
:h:- Fires a fast moving orb projectile that has high damage, medium hitbox but long startup and recovery

:db:+:atk:- Hex Blast, fires a focused hex bolt in the form of a beam air okay, :l:- fires :df:, OTG :m: straight forward, wall bounce :h:- fires :uf:

:hcb:+:atk: Hex Trap, sets up a trap in front of her, strength changes function
:l:- causes weak damage with knockdown
:m:- Wraps the opponent up in metal bar doing light damage but holding them still for a short time, longest time
:h:- Pillar of hex magic covers area, doing heavy damage, shortest time, affects air opponents as well

:rdp:+ :atk:- Teleport, :l: does a prolonged teleport to the same spot, allows her to dodge grab or such :m: Teleports up in the air above area :l: Teleports to other side of screen

Just to begin with.

I would not know where to begin doing a movelist for her. You should have a hyper called “No More Mutants” and any mutant character will lose their specials/hypers.

Dante’s projectiles don’t work anything like the helpers. The helpers were quick cancelable projectiles that ran along the ground or air as part of orb blockstrings. Dante doesn’t have anything like that. Same for teleports. Strider’s whole game was teleport mix ups in tandem with lockdown which Dante has nothing even remotely similar to. Even the ‘crescent slashes’ (which is kind of like comparing Ryu with Spiderman because they have jabs) are angled differently. At the end of the day half the cast is designed to rush you down, and whether they ‘slice’ or punch you is purely an aesthetic difference.

Name one thing Strider has that Dante has. One. Also, Strider is like Phoenix AND Dante now!? Where are you getting these random comparisons?

Hah should be M-Day- Magneto Storm and X-23 are deleted from the game.

i dont believe wolverine or phoenix lost their powers, could be wrong though.
