That xxxramboxxx guy quit on me for starting the round off by countering his jumpin. Then he messaged me saying “I’m not going to fight someone who starts the round off like that”. Probably the fastest ragequit I’ve induced yet!

I had the most bizarre thing happen to me. I completely beat somebody 2-0. They then PM me to tell me that I got owned… when they never even won a match?

Maybe on his screen he won, this has happened to me a few times before the patch. I would beat somebody and then they would message me saying that I quit on them, it use to happen when one of the players was vega.
perhaps thatr glicth has come back like so many of the other glitches. Yesterday |I had the blanka electricity glitch happen, my guile had electicity all over his body for the whole round…looked kinda cool
I was beating on his Chun with Fei, then he ragequits, telling me I’m a pussy with no skill (I spammed the fuck out of LK CW :lol:).
Then he tells me I have a horrible connection. I had issues with my connection in the past which I fixed. I had a ping of 74 with him! I didn’t notice any lag at all!
Then he boots me off his Friends List. 
Out of both of our matches, he only won one round total. Neither one of us was Vega. He really wasnt that great. The circumstantial evidence makes me believe that he was flat out delusional.

I don’t quite understand what they are thinking. I’ll admit, playing your Guile is frustrating. Frustrating only because I couldn’t think of a way to get in and deal some good damage. That’s not cheap or shit play, that’s textbook controlling space and I respect that.
I guess some people get mad at themselves for not being able to beat someone, and others get mad at the person they cannot beat.
But yeah, I think ragemail, ragequits and bad rep are good ways to see how well you are doing. The better you are, the more you get.
I don’t get annoyed at people ragequitting anymore, I just find it funny that they got so frustrated that they quit the game and look like a faggot instead of going the distance and finding another lobby after. Steamroller style Gief is always good for ragequits.
Unfortunately I don’t get that much ragemail these days. Maybe I’m not doing good, or maybe the more vocal of the community just moved on to SFIV instead.

That’s wierd, i just came on to flame a dude called “G4ME TIM3” on XBLwho dropped on me right at the end of the third round just as i was clearly about to get given the win in ranked after some pwnage of his character.I sent him a little bit of abuse as i do to a lot of “bottom of the 9th” obvious droppers that d/c just as they’re about to lose, not expecting anything back, but he messaged me back a load of abuse, saying that i had dropped and he had been given a rank increase and the win.If this is happening then it’s really lame and should be fixed.I don’t know if the dude reads/posts on SRK, but my bad if you didn’t drop, but at the end of the last round, just as you’re about to lose…seems a little too “convenient” to me.:rolleyes:
Also, a big fat Fuck you to “Romaro” on XBL. The dude D/C’d on me, same situation, bottom of the last round, about to lose and he backs into the corner, stops moving, and then a second later “CONNECTION LOST”. Grrrr.

I was facing brandtopia’s Sagat. Whooped his ass…he ragequit. Somehow we met again, only this time he chose Akuma. Ragequit. At this point I sent him a message saying “Go home and be a family man”, but no response. Finally we met again, this time he was using Vega. I decided to do nothing, so he got 2 perfects on me. I let him get me down to 80% health in the 3rd round, and then I quit on HIM.

yea that player is a real loser, he talks a lot of trash. He is right up there with the well known pop star x0x0x0Rambox0x0x0
Yeah it is annoying when that happens, from what I’ve read on here and from my own experience it can happen when somebody ragequits on you and you leave the ‘player disconnected’ screen on for too long, this will result in a loss for you even though you won.
The other one is a flaw in the the way the game records wins and losses. You play a normal match, no rage quits or disconnects…you win, but on the leaderboards it has marked it as a loss. The patch was supposed to fix this problem but it still occurs now and again
In-Game Rage
FALL OF CHOAS, is my favourite rage quitter, he has called me every name you can think off, but despite that I have an affinity for the guy. I guess its bcos he english isnt that good that when he sends offensive messages they just come across as comedic and almost poetic. Last time I played I could tell he was trying his best but he just couldn’t figure a way break down guiles defense, so he just gave up…he didnt quit… he just stopped playing, so I used him for combo practise. Afterwards he messaged me saying:
‘burn in hell mother fucker, son of shit’
If you ever come across this guy again and beat him, msg him and say ‘Mr Irepressible said hi’.
Him and KillerLiam are up there with the top of the rage quitters, but there not quite in Rambo’s league yet, but they’re not far behind.
I havnt had any rage quits for the past few days cos I’ce been doing mainly player matches, but last night I was subjected to some ‘in-game rage’ in a player match room. Any of you guys ever been subjected to this kinda stuff while actually playing???
I beat someone last night (XBox.com is down so I can’t check) and a got a NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB U SUCK LMFAO.
I gave him back a “Charmed. Had you not been blowing goats, maybe you would have thought to block more.”

Like i said before, i don’t really care about/have any faith in online rankings.I mainly just play ranked to get a quick game or 2 in when i don’t have time to sit on a queue and spectate for 5 playa matches before i can play, but it sucks that there’s no disincentive to stop people from pulling the plug if they’re losing, or that it sometimes it actually HELPS them to increase.
Needs to be fixed asap, and there are loads of really good ideas posted on SRK for fixes ( Hello Capcom!! ).
I’m adding a 2nd HDR patch to my wishlist of nice things i want but will probably never see, along with world peace, and a back to the future-esque flying car.Here’s hoping…:rolleyes:
