Yeah, I played killerliam 2 nights ago. I felt sorry for him because I got one of those 3-0 end in a perfect --> Custom game --> Oooo look, that one’s got a ping of 58 --> Oh it’s you again --> 3-0 end in a perfect --> I’ll switch to hosting for 10 minutes to break the cycle
I reckon if I hadn’t switched to Guile for the second fight it would’ve been ragetime. In fairness, he took the second beating like a man vs. me though.
I have about 10 hate mail msgs from KillerLiam, they get more and more hostile the more I beat him. Funny thing is I beat about 5 times in ranked then he challenged me to a player match and I beat him again and he sent some more hate mail…and I got it all on camera too. Apparently I only beat him cos he uses characters he isnt good with or because he is going for the acheivement.
‘fall of chaos’ is another one who sends hate mail, funny thing about him is that his english isnt too good, so when he tries to be offensive it just looks too funny.
Another one from the UK his PiercingEagle, he’s generally a cool guy, but when he loses a few matches he gets very angry. One time he rage quit on me and msg’ed me saying he wouldn’t play me again unless I didnt flash kick him every time he jumped. I responded with my best apologies and said that I mistankenly was under the impression that the flash kicks primary use was an anti air move.
KillerLiam is full of excuses.I beat him several times in a row a while back and there was a different excuse and verbal abuse every time.That character’s cheap, that move is unfair, too much lag, etc, etc…
Take your beating like a man, and try and learn from it, instead of whining like a little bitch.
KillerLiam is typical of those guys who thinks he can dominate online like he probably did against the cpu on the snes.

H1TCHER: lol this guy always rage quits on me, he either quits as soon as he sees my gamer tag or he quits right before he gets ko’ed. I’ve never had any bad mail from him though.
SMQ91, he is a decent player, his balrog is extremly good, but he talks so much shit during matches, but other than that I havnt had no trouble with him, infact he often complements my guile. I’ve got a video of me playing his deejay and one playing his balrog. I beat his deejay quite easily but his balrog demolishes my guile.
His boxer is serious business for sure. I think I played him about 4 or 5 games when he sent me that, and everyone came down to the last game. Don’t think he took a game from me that time (although he has since), and I was in the middle of preparing a GG speach when he spat his dummy out on took a hissy fit.

yeah I get that a lot too. Their logic is that bcos guile only has 2 special moves that it takes no skill to use him. One guy said to me:

Funniest hate mail ever, this guy is seriously pissed
This game is starting to get annoying. When I play ranked matches it seems like 3 out of 5 fights are me versus some random Akuma scrub who has some how rigged his 360 to connect to Live with a dial up connection. It’s like watching a slide show of annoying bullshit. I had one match like this and the guy was clearly talking the entire time but I didn’t have a headset on. After the match I sent him a message asking him if he realized I couldn’t hear anything he was saying.
Does anyone from here want to get some matches in? I’m not that great but I never rage quit and don’t do any shit talking either.

I don’t get any hatemail in HDR anymore which is nice. Maybe it’s because I lose more often than I used to (man SFIV fucked em up) but the less shit in my mail box is welcome. I do get people talking random shit about me when they don’t think I can hear them though. When it goes a little too far I like to chime in to wit they are usually shocked a little and then seize the clamor.
