Got another ragequitter, z12hayubasa, this time he’s more vocal.

We were playing ranked match, his ryu vs my sim. He actually narrowly won the first round, but then I completely dominated him in the second… I think the only hit he got on me was trading hits on my f.mk or something. Anyways, as soon as I deal him the death blow in round 2 he disconnects. I’m kinda curious as to whether he actually ragequit or not, he still had at least 2 more rounds to go before his fate was sealed, but I sent him a message anyways to find out:

MechaJesus: “Grow up and take your beating like a man”

z12hayubasa: “why would i waste my time on somebody of sucks” [yes, “of sucks,” all this is (sic)]

MechaJesus: If I suck, and I just dominated you… You must REALLY suck.

z12hayubasa: “i like to fight people has skills to beat me not the ones that get lucky”

MechaJesus: It’s not luck when you are easily predictable and I read you like a card, set a trap, and you take the bait. [He was doing fireball-jump in-fireball-jump in shenanigans. I hit him with like 4 f.mks in a row before he learned that I was onto him. I would throw my FB in anticipation of his so I was free to f.mk him on the jump.]

I stopped caring after that one :smile:

I also had a zangief player bitching about me using nothing but fireball / f.mk / f.hp. Dude, it’s not my fault your matchup sucks.

Ok I just started playing this game (tag ‘002 CCCP’) and I’ve had two guys hurl abuse at me over the mic so far.

First guy was mad because I was tick-throwing with Zangief - apparently that is not allowed?
so because he was being rude to me I actually told him how I was going to beat him in the next match with T.Hawk and perfected him with tick-throws. His reaction was the best thing I could’ve hoped for.

Second guy actually got angry at me because he specc’ed me playing against my friend and I think I said something to my friend over mic like “unlucky” or something - nothing major. He says “shut the f*** up I’m gonna whoop your ass” and he chose E.Honda and it was pretty even I guess (against my Zangief and T.Hawk) until I chose Blanka non-stop and absolutely dominated him. Some of my favourite lines from him were:

  • “hah, kicked your ass b*tch” when he won a match against my gief that was very close.
  • “how do you like them apples?” when he won a round. I told him the apples were quite nice when I won the match.
  • “that’s all you can do” when I beat him using jumping d.HP splash exclusively with Hawk (what made it funny is the fact that he was pretty much doing headbutts only in the previous round).

Despite these negative experiences most people I’ve played against are really nice and getting a ‘ggs’ from haru tejyo after he basically ruined everyone in the room was really cool.
Gracious winners are what we need more of.
Sore losers can go home and be family men.

I sent a really decent Rog a “My face! My beautiful face! (gg!)” after he botty-raped my Vega.

I got a “lol, you too” back.

That made me happy.

All I did was full screen booms, some slow, some fast, the guy landed on like 4 of them after jumping.

I played a really scrubby ken on HDR tonight in ranked versus my dictator.He beat me narrowly with nothing but tick throws and fierce DPs in the first round before i figured out that’s all there was to him, so i changed my playstyle, and won the next 3 rounds on him by bait and punishing his DP’s and tick throwing and reversal throwing the crap out of him quicker than he could, just to force feed him some of his own cheese.

Straight away after i win the match i get:

“Asshole”

I replied:

“Haha, LOL, u mad cos you lost? Get some less predictable tactics.Idiot.”

That was it, or so i thought.I move on to my next ranked match, and come across the same guy again, 2nd match in a row, same matchup.I expected him to disconnect as is all too common on HDR lately, but he doesn’t.I lay off the cheese for a bit and give him a chance to redeem himself with some cleverer moves for the first 20 seconds or so, but he just sticks with the same bonehead tactics, so i destroy him again, 3-0, just as cheaply.

3 mins go by and i get ANOTHER MESSAGE:

“FUUUUUCKING AAAAASSHOLE!!!COME ON SF4 I’LL MAKE YOU EAT ALL YOUR FUCKING TEETH YOU FUCKING FAGGOT!!!”

My reply:

“Hahahahahahahahahaha.LOL. I thought you looked like a little SF4 newbie scrub ken player.No thanks, i’m sure you’d be just as predictable on 4.Maybe in a few years-Get some practice in first.Later loser.”

I usually don’t get many messages, but last night I got two.

The first came from a scrubby Ken who thought repeated DP’s would shut down my Claw. After 3 crushing games I immediately get the message, “you’re pathetic.”

The second one came after I beat a different person in three rated matches in a row–all with Claw. This time it was just, “***,” except that the a in *** had a Spanish accent over it.

just got disconnected on in a ranked match this evening after stomping the crap out of a very dumb ryu who kept fireballing at my dictator from miles away for about two and three quarters rounds.Just as he’s dizzy and about to be KO’d he disconnects.I sent my customary insulting message as i do to a lot of droppers, something along the lines of “hahaha, that the best you can do quitter?”

to which he replied:

“I don’t play with cheating bison players”

Didn’t you hear? If you input 1080 PPP+KKK with Bison you win the match. It’s really cheap.
