Late night crew tends to be pretty friendly, and PSN seems nicer on the whole (noticed you have options).
I’d say XBL anytime you’d expect people to feel tired and cranky… you know, angsty fourteen year olds who’ve missed their bedtimes or fully grown baby-men who just got home from a boring or stressful job they hate and are overdue for supper. I’m sure that crabby sweaty dudes who have been sitting in same pair of underwear for three days and can’t login to a busy WOW server and grumpy bratty kids who turned on “an easier game” as a rage break from Halo 3 are probably high generators for hatemail too.
Rooms are better than ranked since you can just keep chippin’ away at the same person/people’s bullshit threshold until they c-c-cr-crack.

Also, even though Chun’s 3RH doesn’t cross-up by itself, some people actually don’t block it (or try to reversal it) on wake-up several times in a row. They send the funniest messages.
I don’t bad mouth anybody when I lose but today I sent my first hate msg to another player for game dropping. Makes me so mad and they always write back acting as if its YOU that has the problem and is the baby/sore loser/emo kid/etc and not them… I wish people like that would just die- honeslty just fucking die. I know it shouldn’t bother me but its more frustrating when the person I beat dropped had beaten me several times and I never dropped a game to him. Its like wtf is your problem- have you any pride at all? How do you take yourself or your record seriously when you know its totally fucking cheated? I don’t understand people like that- its the same shit I deal with when I play puzzle fighter.
OK last night I was playing stupid late (3am PST) and still crazy drunk. I was fighting this guy and beat him with everyone I used other than Chun Li. When I finally got around to using Chun, dude beat my Chun like 3 times in a row and I was able to get the next 3 with her.
Dude then messages me I am a pussy for hanging back and hiding behind so many fireballs. First of all he beat me so I don’t exactly know why he was bitching but hey, go fig. I don’t reply to these things usually but hey I was drunk. I said that I was really drunk and as far as I am concerned it was a good game. Immediately after I got a friend request from him :lol:
yeah its weird for some reason i can do chun’s neckbreaker over and over again on people and they seem to forget if reversals dont work BLOCK is also a good choice
i was trying to get the “win with everyone online” achievement (i think there is one) and was getting kinda frustrated because it wasnt going too well and my execution was completely off. everything became better though when i picked honda. i got good matches, won a lot, and most importantly i got my first hate mail. it wasnt all that interesting, just “that was the gayest shit ever can u play for real” from a blanka who did a lot of jumping short and was probably mad getting jab headbutt/super up the ass (seriously…how the hell ELSE am i going to counter that). hate mail is nice to have as a statement of your (somewhat) competent gameplay, especially on a day when you feel like youre really really bad at the game.
tl;dr: honda is awesome because he gets you hate mail

I got the throwing achievement, and someone told me that I better go refund my purchase at Microsoft because I have no skill and I don’t know how to play this game. Throws are cheap, blah blah blah.

I played a a guy for 20 straight matches and beat him 19 times of those 20.
Afterward he messaged me and said something like “dude you’re good etc.” so I sent him the link for this forum.
Of the 500 + friendly matches I’ve played that’s the only positive message I’ve received so far.
Most of the others accuse me of being a noob, using the same move over and over (because jumping roundhouse crossup > 2x stand short > low forward > psycho crusher with Bison is a cheap strategy), being a homosexual (gays must be amazing at Street Fighter), or having intercourse with my mother and father.
The negatives are all from XBL…the one positive was from the PSN…
