Wasn’t mail, but in game v Quest v started mumbling “cheap ass bullshit” when I’d bite him with Blanka.
He starts calling me a “no-skill motherfucker”. So I change to Guile and beat him, to which he says “you just sat back and didn’t attack, cheap bullshit!”

I’m not good enough to get much hate mail (I’m winning about 70% of my matches right now).
- I was down 2-0 as Zangief against Guile and came back to squeak it out and got a PM… but the guy just said “dang well played”.
- got PM’d “omg are you preppy?! you’re the most famous person ive ever played with. truly an honor.” from a guy playing on a friend’s account. :lol:
Most everyone has been cool. I’ve gotten a few “You fucking suck!” over the mics when I win with Ryu, but when I win with Zangief people almost seem to be into it. :wtf:
One guy I fought online sent me this:
“Sorry, gtg. A few mistakes cost me tonight. Good games. I like the way you play.”
So overall it wasn’t that bad. I don’t think I’m a good enough player to warrant hate mail just yet, but there was this one guy I beat really bad who just stopped fighting half-way through the second round and just spammed standing punches while I comboed him to death. It’s like he’s pretty much just given up.
I was told I only won because I was a button mashing pussy and how it must suck to be me. I was Zangief vs his Blanka and Dee Jay. :rolleyes: I then offered him best of 5… he accepted and then he won 0… rounds. 
I received my first two hate messages in the span of 20 minutes 2 nights ago.
First was a Dictator who (for the first 2 rounds) would drill then throw me over and over again. So then I just started spamming fireballs like crazy with my ryu to discourage the drilling … except for whatever reason he wouldn’t stop and it got stuffed EVERY time. Last round he gets smart and starts jumping so I throw out some random f. fireball>DP for the win. The second I win I get a disconnect then this nice voice message:
“Man, kid, you’re garbage. All you keep … the only way you can beat me is by spamming the sh@t out of those fireballs. Pretty f@kin’ pathetic”
The second was a Honda vs Honda match against this guy that had “Angry Man” in his name. Which I found to be quite appropriate. This person was persistent in wanting to trade headbutts so I kinda waited around untill he threw a headbutt out there and punished. Then the jump kicks started … so I’d bat him out of the air. During the match when I was about to win he goes “I just gave you the match because all you were gonna do is stand there, but good game” in response I burped in my microphone (kinda jerkish I know, but I hate it when people have too much pride to take a loss) and that just set him off.
So of course I received a voice message:
" hey its funny how you come at at thhhe end and and belch in the microphone instead of talking during the match when I said something earlier …your f@#kin’ E. Honda’s horrible. F@#k you bitch your lucky I havn’t played in a couple days."
in response I wrote:
“you really are an angry man …”
His text rebuttal:
“how lame like I havnt than 1 b4. Srub (scrub?) go back to halo 2”
Then why haven’t any of us heard of them until now?
I am so happy! More hate mail! What am I doing wrong/right?
This one was sort of odd because I chose Boxer, a character whom I have played maybe 5 times in my life; he also chose Boxer.
We played 10 games and came out even! So, I thought, this is a good series of games.
Although I could have played a few more, I wanted to get back in the comfort zone, so I chose Dictator to his Balrog.
Well, it wasn’t even close.
After to the 11th match, there was a pause. Oh good, I thought, maybe he wants to compliment me on my 'Rog (I would have replied with the same).
Nope, it’s a message that states, in child-like form: “everything was k until u just started grabing (sic)”

Well, the only way to combat one who critiques throwing (and who doesn’t know that throwing is a part of Dictator’s game), is…to…throw him!
So, he picked Gief and I stuck with Dic. He got a couple SPD’s in and one a round, but I went into overdrive and threw his ass about 8 times in a row. With about 20% health left, the impending “rage-quit” came to fruition.
I laughed, but I laughed even harder when this message came in:

Because they are a new SF2 clan of online-only, bedroom/livingroom warrior scrubs. I think that was sort of Nin King’s point. 
Whoa, I played you like last week. Your Dictator, in fact. Not sure who I was playing at the time, but I complimented you. I think the exact text of my message was “Solid Dic. Nice tick throw setups, but sloppy combo execution. Other than that, good fights” or something like that.

edit: I’ve also been getting large amounts of mail telling me to quit doing the same two moves over and over. But man, that’s tough when you’re playing Guile!

So, last round of a gay match where i’m rog and i tick throw the shit out of my opponent i get a msg saying how cheap i am and a couple threats here threats there blah.

Yay! I got my first hate mail!
I was playing this Ken player, and I was using Zangief. Now, I suck with Gief because I just picked him up. I fuck up his tick timings all the time…which is weird considering I can reversal SPD about 70% of the time. Maybe it’s just the lag. Anyways, we played 21 matches. He seemed to know how to zone Gief decently. It came down to 10-10, and I decided to see how he would fare against my main (Dictator). I crushed him pretty easily with pressure strings and tick throws. He quits afterwards, and I get a one line message: “FAGGIT”. I don’t know what set him off. Maybe it’s the whole “winning with gief=respect” syndrome.
I’m happy I joined the club. 
A big difference about hatemail in the US and hatemail in EU is that there’s a bunch of countries here with bad or no english education so the hatemail can turn out pretty fun.
These two were in the same room, I didn’t drop a match out of 20 something vs them.
