Finally had someone ragequit at the last possible second. Tyladar was his XBL name.
I had gotten beaten by him earlier that night, so when his name popped up I was definately ready for a rematch, his Bang beat me using some scrub combos and very little pressure while I was warming up.
Couple matches with Nu later, I had him on the ropes, and right as the last part comes up where you win and the little red orb comes in, he quits on me, plays another round, and logs off. I got a chuckle out of him.
I’ve received three messages after winning games, and they were all complimenting me on my Tao playing. I guess people don’t find Tao to be cheap or something.
Yeah, the only messages I’ve received have all complimented me for playing Bang. But come on, it’s Bang. How could anyone possibly hate him?
I actually haven’t had too much hate mail myself (probably because im not pro status yet), but i have had ragequitters and one jin who kept screaming into the mic because my “b” kept hitting him because it has really good range.
ive sent “good games” and and one “slick move at the end” when i got astraled with rachel b/c of her wind (1st time i ever saw it)
I did a neutral recovery with Tager and did 720 on Wake while Taokaka tried to grab me and won. message recieved " That was BS"
The SAME exact thing happened the next match and he said " That was some gay bs" Then he quit.

Seriously, if someone gets me in the clap loop then they deserve the win. It’s hard to set up, especially against someone who expects it, and even trickier to maintain. They earned that win.
The fact that only one character has an infinite, it’s one of the weakest hitting characters, and (imo) the hardest to really use well, on top of being hard to maintian, makes it fair imo.
No hatemail yet. I’m generally a nice person online, and try to send a GG to every RESPECTABLE player i go against and ignore the others. I usually rage on my own and go out to have a cigarette, but never send hatemail. haha.
Sometimes me and a friend purposely act like ragequitting hate-message senders for laughs on 2DF.
So I wouldn’t recommend replying to Hate messages on the off-chance they’re trolling, too.
I got a few things like “bullshit, you can’t have the gun come around my back and hit me. suck my asshole you faggot” - Judis Iscariot(or something like that)
I just laughed because the second part of a round D and into a forward C is the spinning gun which hit behind him.
other than that…all good stuff. I msg people “GG” or I will say something across the mic like “Damn good Tager player”
Carl Clap is horrid!!! I’ve been getting caught in them most of today. I have to BB to get out of it and then punish him and hope I don’t get caught with an air dash if i want to avoid the NYX.

Yeah clap trap is awesome. A character who’s whole strategy revolves around one combo. That’s depth folks.
Got my first rage quitter today. After I smashed his scrubby, D spamming Noel with my Haku-men, he quit before Haku-men could even do his victory pose. Felt pretty good, but I just can’t wait until I get my first hatemail. It shall be glorious.
