how do you start the glitch with wesker?
Any version of Mustang Kick will start the glitch.
I don’t understand (not a Wesker main). How do you DHC glitch a move that’s not a super?
Samurai Edge > Light trouble…
I am having the hardest time connecting Wesker’s Samurai Edge OTG into Light after an aerial series to continue the combo. It’s like it skips the input and I end up whiffing the Medium. Samurai Edge does link into Light or am I mistaken? I’m pretty new with Wesker and the forums hence the lack of appropriate input symbols the like. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

the glitch comes from the spin state caused by certain moves. mustang kick accomplishes this state.so mustang kick after hit cancel into his hyper counter into another character that completes the dhc trick. i thought it was only for mustang L. i do not use the dhc glitch characters other than wesker so i do not know.
It’s best to link his OTG shot with a c.M. s.M will also work but c.M has more range and is easier to continue the combo with in some cases.
At the very least it works with the L and M version. I’m sure it would work with the H version, but I’ve never been able to get a DHC out before the opponent wall bounces to verify it (if that’s even possible with lightning speed)

after an arieal series you can’t OTG and link combo’s again. Thats why you need an assist right after the otg.
Yeah. You can OTG by yourself after a Magic Series -> Cobra Strike at the beginning of a combo, but afterwards you’ll need to call assists in to keep your opponent in hit stun. There are too many hits on the hit counter after an air combo to do anything other than s.L or c.L into the reset of your choice.

Hey guys a quick question. I don’t main wesker but I have a lot of trouble fighting against him, especially his standing S attack. That move seems unpunishable to me, and my point character is wolverine. Do you have any advice to beat weskers that spam the l m h s string? I’ve tried pushblocking them away but this mostly resets the situation; I’m wondering if I can take advantage of their spamming and punish them for it.
wesker’s standing S is only -1 on block, so for wesker players it’s generally safe to complete the LMHS chain as a blockstring. my buddy plays wolverine, and to avoid those high-priority lows, he’ll usually call an assist that covers horizontal space, then dive kick. Sent drones and Doom rocks come to mind. pushblocking should still get you some space, but be sure to pushblock the standing S.
-1, wow I guess I have no choice but to pushblock and try something new. I’m currently using wolve/akuma/sent, but might switch out akuma for hulks anti-air assist (my akuma is terrible anyways).

You should just pushblock the string before the S to make it whiff. Even if you can’t punish, you can take advantage of the recovery to steal momentum.
