congrats to you, my first job was at sonic, then i switched to pizza hut after a year, then i worked wendys for a while. most of my friends worked at wendys starting out
food service sucks but its a bit like a rite of passage, hope it doesn’t grind you down too much.

When I was there, we still had the Superbar. That shit was awesome. You just had to keep the ice replenished around the containers, keep stirring the sauces so they don’t get a skin…and watch out for people who buy chili, side salads, or baked potatoes. They’d try to sneak over and pretend they didn’t know that it was wrong for them to add stuff like cheese onto their chili or potato, or extra toppings to their salad for free rather than paying for it at the counter.
Fast food sucks but you have to pay your dues. I worked at KFC and Whataburger when I was in high school. Some places let you try out various positions to see where you’ll fit in. The trick is to act purposely dumb doing the things you don’t want to do, and try to excel and work hard at the things you want to do. They will usually notice and try and steer you towards what your good at. For example if they put me on grill I’d be a slow fumbling retard, purposely, but they put me on a register, cleaning, or prepping food like cutting veggies and making salads, I’d be a model employee. Usually works. Def get ready to take extra showers, and wash your face 3x a day religiously. The job sucks bad enough, will stress you out more coming home and smelling like grease and having a broke out face. Also take things people tell you at work with a grain of salt. A lot of people that work fast food are dumb, real dumb. So don’t always do monkey see, monkey do. I remember having to stop a manager from using Concrete Cleaner to clean a fry machine because we were out of fry cleaner. If you saw all the warnings and how toxic that stuff was your jaw would have hit the ground. Was some industrial shit. You were supposed to wear gloves, make sure you had no exposed skin, and a respirator just to handle the chemical. Wash it off for like 5 min if any got on your skin and call poison control center. That why I don’t eat fast food anymore really. If I wasn’t there, that would have been in peoples food. And people wonder where cancer comes from? Also, don’t get stuck there. Now that you have a job, it is easier to get a better job. So don’t stop applying to jobs. A good step up from fast food would be retail. Especially clothing, talk about getting laid a lot!!! Anyway, fast food is really not that bad. I have fond memories of getting off work and skating around with my friends while eating free chicken and drinking beer. = D

I worked at McD as well and I was at the Drive-Thru. It was a great experience especially if ya run into the young chicks whom are driving. At the time, I was working there during my freshman year in college. At one point during the summer months of not being in school I would work a gawd like amount of hours to the point for my entire freshman year i paid for school out of pocket. I shit you not. I still couldnt believe til this day that I pulled that shit off. I was working at one of McD’s franchise owners that had more than enough coin to handle OT so i guess I was lucky. As long as you worked hard they’ll give it to ya.
As for the chicks then, there is no way for you not to get laid unless you’re that much of a lame. A number of the woman in fast food are solid 8s (im being nice) once they get out of the Mc’Ds look and get ready for going out. I banged at least 3 (one of them was the “team leader”) I suggest talk to the thick black chick with the big tits. They are the freaks. If ya 18-20, young male with a car INSTANT PUSSY.

My first job was at a nearby Supermarket called Market Basket. 10 years, 7 months later, I remain. Starting pay was 6.50. I’ll make $45k this year.

I just got back from my orientation,had to sign some paper work.I gotta go back in tommorow morning to do something called “Wii Learning”.They train u using that.Then i have to explain to them verbally how to make fries etc.Man I thought they would’ve just trained me on the spot lol.pockets getting flat tho i gotta get some slacks by tommorow!
Did the fast food joint for abit. (9-3 shift). Needless to say, I ate more of the food than I actually prepared so they never reached the counter. Ended up getting fired in a week.

and fries is chimp easy. Never fill basket more than 2/3’s, leave em down until the timer goes, don’t fry them with the chicken/fish, and you have to remember that FIFO stupidity (first in first out) for having fresher fries at the back.
