The Wendy's Diaries!

Starhammers right. You will get burned. It’s not a matter of if, but when.

I applied for 9-3 so I guess u can pick.I wouldn’t worry about overqualifying, cuz while I was waiting to be interviewed I heard people who were doctor’s applying there etc and it seemed like they had a chance.

@Ace and Syke:Yessssssssssssssssss!Bumping Pumpah while cleaning grills, macking on co-workers GOD LIKE.Doing the bee juke while cleaning up the bathroom lmao

@Maxx,im 21,funny i kno.I would’ve had a job back when I was 18 but no one was hiring, plus i walk so I couldn’t really journey out to other places like I wanted.Thats why im happy I got this job,its a job just looking for a job.I just kept applying at diff places, sometimes more than 4 times in 4 month period.lol, finally got it!!!

@Starhammer,thanks for the advice man,i appreciate that!

noooooooooow, what if a hot chick comes in wanting food and im working as cashier, how am i going to bag!??!!?

18 lol ive had a job since i was 14-15. the min i was old enough my mom forced me to get one.

@Maxx lol yea it took me awhile to build up my confidence and get out there, had to get over some personal probs

Spicy chicken sandwiches for all! Only thing worth getting at Wendy’s imo. Hook it up!

^_-;

very carefully.

-Starhammer-

damn, thats going to be tricky.gotta get creative.

i currently work at sonic drive in…and its true what people say, you will get a little burn scar, and you have to move fast when the lunch rush comes or you’ll get put on probation like me lol

haha i started so young i had no way of having personal problems…you got lucky.

I couldnt do fast food, because I dont work fast I like to take my time either they want the job done right or get rushed and fuck it all up…its up to them

I seen one kid starting to cry at mcdonalds because he was getting yelled at for taking to long making orders…im surprised they usually put the adults on the grill

thought you had to be like 18 or 21 to work a grill.

 Oh man. I know it may sound bad, but I would’ve been clowning if I was the person who’s order he was taking. Ol’ boy would’ve most likely turned into a serial killer at the age of 18. tell me the truth. Did you or did you not clown on him?

-Starhammer-

lmao,i would’ve been snapping photos of the kid crying with the quickness!

The secret is to staving off the existential despair is to keep telling yourself that all work is honorable.

Wendy’s was my first job in '94…do they still do that sexist shit where only the guys have to clean the bathrooms and take out the trash on post-rush cleanup after midday?

gonna be tempting to buy stuff, but i highly recommend saving money if/while you can.

it took you 2 years to get a job at wendy’s? are you a ex-con or something?

I think they were busy sorting through the applications of college grads and laid-off guys who are accustomed to making 5 times what Wendy’s pays.

nah,its hard to get a job nowadays especially if u dont have any hook ups or a high school diploma etc,and i’ve been applying at diff places for the last 2 years and kept applying at the same places.Thats why im real happy about getting it,i mean it may look dumb to some people me being all excited but like i said it was a hard road getting that job.

Ah. Yeah, that’ll do it. Even today, with a diploma not really meaning anything cuz schools just keep passing kids who can barely function at a 5th grade level, that will still fuck you…even on jobs where it has NO meaning. The registers do all the math for you and the rest is light physical work.
