I would put it in spoiler tags since episode 5 has just come out. Spoiling the ending to that game would be a freaking robbery if you haven’t experienced the game yet. I don’t think it really merits its on thread as not a lot of people like the gameplay style but the story itself is very well-written. Plus it gives something to talk about between episodes.
I actually preferred the story of the game over the show.
The game leading up to Episode 5
[details=Spoiler]I felt like there were more “intense” moments in the game.
Like Lily getting done in was crazy, and how Lee took on the zombies when walking across the street was a very cool moment. Then again, I haven’t seen every episode of the show yet, so maybe I haven’t ran into these moments.[/details]
there’s a most ridiculous inconceivable twist towards the end along with an ending you can smell a mile away.
the game is just as bad as the show. they both suffer from lazy writing and introducing useless characters at weird times then they’re gone just as quickly as they’re introduced. Also, Lee is the worst hero in gaming history no matter what options you pick.
Shatter’s idea of good writing is a Tyler Perry script. And his favorite “hero” is Shia La Boeuf in the transformers franchise.
For those who do not like the game play what would you have preferred it to be? Even those that don’t like the game must admit it boils down the essence of what the show is really about.
I hated the ending BECAUSE I could smell it a mile away.
Spoiler
with tons of unanswered questions, they basically setup everyone to anticipate a 2nd game, which it doesn’t deserve, and Clementine is reaching/surpassing Carl levels. this is suppose to be set just a lil’ before the comic so leaving Clem out to dry like that with leaving only mediocre characters alive makes this whole situation trifle and stale. She’s going to have to be Meshonne Lite to even make it to the point of the current comic is at, or just somehow gets introduced into the show…
