You talk about the show as it has been aired to the current episode. “Hounded” for those who don’t know. You talk about what you think about the show, the characters, the plot, the setting as it is now. If you have info to relate about the comic you put it in a spoiler, preferably naming it “comic spoiler”. You talk about what you think is going to happen based on what you have seen rather than what you know(unless you put it in the spoiler).
We all presumably passed the 5th grade, we know how to have discussions so stop acting like idiots. I enjoy this show and have enjoyed posting my thoughts in the thread and see what other people also think. So stop acting like idiots befor Val decides to instaban this thread as well.

man just saw episode 5, and I can’t believe. The walkthrough I watched had everyone join him and I can believe they had kenny and ben go out like that. The ending too was just sad, I want to know what happens to clem too. Before she walks out she needs to cover herself in more zombie guts but it did look like it was going to rain so that wouldn’t help. Shit was sad. Lee was the man till the very end.

The Walking Dead Game 4-5
[details=Spoiler]Well fuck. Just about everyone freaking dies. As expected Clementine is going to have to deal with an Undead Lee. Although I’m sorta pissed off at the ending after the credits. I mean really…? You gotta leave me at a cliff hanger like that?! I was kinda disappointed however in that… choices really didn’t matter too much towards the end when you faced Stranger/Campmann. It was just basically retelling what you did throughout the previous episodes instead of actually changing anything. Also FUCK… Kenny died too?! I really regret keeping Ben alive, I should have left him dropped but apparently it doesn’t matter because Kenny dies through other means if Ben is dead.
Overall the game was decent as a story-platform as a game itself it was pretty average. I can understand why some people will be turned off by it but the story-telling was really well written. The only complains is that I wish more of the decisions you did in the game would reward you or haunt you. Like when you abandon Lily or chose to bring her with you. I would have liked to meet her in the city or something! Might be a bit too unrealistic. I wish Molly had a bigger part however as well as Crawford actually being up and running instead of being in shambles, sort of like a Woodsbury 2.0.
Another cool thing maybe would have been Clementine run into one of the people from the Walking dead Show/Comics at the end or something. But I did get teary eyed when I told Clementine to shoot me. The voice actress that played Clementine did a really good job at pulling my heart strings.[/details]

On that note…kinda: I saw the Walking Dead action figures in Gamestop yesterday. Rick looks tight. Shane…his face looks a little doughy, and he’s wearing an open jacket with no shirt…he’s got muffin-top. Pretty sure he was a LOT more fit on the show.

I pm’ed Val about this thread months ago, took longer than it should have but I’m very thankful he said something at all. Fucking mark ass bitches ruining the comic for many others and than justifying it by saying they’re too lazy to use spoilers.
Edit: The spoiler sticky rule, the way others personally define it, the way it’s (sometimes) enforced across various media is inconsistent and lackluster and the #1 issue I have with this site.
I went into the old thread once and saw a bunch of spoilers…never went back again. So im glad that we now have a thread specifically for the show.

You’re missing out, but I understand the gameplay is not for everyone. It works perfectly for how they were trying to tell the story, though.

Thanks to my IAP cracker I got all 5 episodes of TWD game on iPad free but if I knew it was so GDLK going in I would gladly pay for it. It’s one of the best games of 2012, if you like Heavy Rain you’ll like it but if you don’t then probably not. It’s definitely not for everyone, it caters to more adult tastes. I love the direction they took Telltale could have made a zombie killing clone and called it a day, instead they captured the essence of what makes TWD such a GDLK show and focused only on that. In the game just like the show you can’t have your cake and eat it too you have to make tough choices and live with the consequences.
Activision making TWD FPS…yeah I’ll pass.
I can’t wait to have regenerative health in a zombie survival horror game! Because having regenerating health makes perfect sense in a zombie apocalypse…
