Eh, not really. It’s a group of strangers under pressure, someone’s eventually going to disagree and/or break away. Antagonists don’t necessarily have to be assholes; just like how people on the protagonist’s side (or even the protagonist(s) himself/herself/themselves) don’t have to necessarily be “good” people. I’m sure you already know that, though.

Besides, they made a point in the preview to mention that the guy had a brother who seems to be pretty much like him, so he’s obviously the “replacement asshole” even if something does happen to his brother.

I think he pretty much has to survive, so he can turn around and troll the group. He’s really the only person introduced thus far with any true antagonistic qualities.

I mean we’re only 2 episodes in so they could always make more random baddies, but this guy actually has some bad blood with the group so that mechanic would be more interesting than just replacing him with random baddies

Yeah, the zombies are always the ever present antagonists, but at least you can see the threat they represent. I’ve always said that it’s still the humans you got to keep your eye on in a zombie apocalypse… hell that goes for real life too.

My question is; how are they going to handle the kid that plays Rick’s son? Bad thing about kid actors is that they grow up really fast.

I too like the idea that some zombies retain muscle memory. Just the thought of them running into a gym and there being some muscle bound zombie or a sprinter would be funny as hell.

Just replace his ass like 30 times like on Mad Men.

Zombies remembering to do things, thats fine. But just not climbing a fence quickly and not busting their asses. If the zombie started climbing very slowly and then they cut back and it was almost at the top, then they cut back again and it busts it’s ass and breaks an arm and leg, that would have been a little better.

Funny how the ninja zombie was black. He must have just been a natural jumper.

13, AMC 1 hour series always get 13 episodes.

The first season is 6 episodes. The second season will be the standard 13 episode full run. Also, this shit is dope. I’ve never read the comics, though I’ve heard about them, so I’m going into this w/o any expectations, but from what I’ve seen so far, and by the viewership numbers, AMC’s got another great series in the Emmy runnings.
