The Walking Dead - A New Series from AMC

I believe Andrea knew that the girl didn’t want to kill herself. I’m against suicide as well, but I understand what she was getting at.

Spoiler

Look ,I know I’m talking about a fictional world but the only reason Andrea isn’t dead is Dale. She wouldn’t have cared if that girl killed herself because that’s what she wanted to do at the CDC. I have no faith in TV Andrea

he sure has a nose for it!

Never cared for Andrea until tonights episode. Her exchange with Lori instantly endeared her to me.

This was my favorite episode so far of this season.

That preview for the next episode looks nuts though, darryl is back to being a bad ass  GET HYPE.

Yup stupid ho needs to shut the fuck up. She is useless.

Seriously this. If it follows the comic there would be no surprise. Also shane/rick feud and darryl are the only reasons to watch

I thought shane was gonna die

I thought Shane was donezo for sure. Maybe the season finale will be the episode in which he bites the dust. Or I’d laugh if he just leaves and that’s the last we hear of Shane. I find it funny how they’re trying to redeem his character now.

How was he “redeemed”:wtf: If anything Shane is being more and more antagonized instead of the flawed hero he was in S1. S1 Shane made hard choices he had a simmering dark side but overall was morally aligned with Rick, S2 Shane thus far is much more selfish and callous.

How is shane the asshole when rick is putting him in those shitty situations. Letting the gimp boy live, feeding him, claiming the kid as his only and not shanes, and then fighting shane in random dangerous area? Who writes this shit?

Apparently, Rick.

Episode was decent, but am I the only one that thinks that the adventure Shane & Rick went on was kind of pointless? I understand the writers wanted to find a way for Rick to finally confront Shane, but it didn’t have to be under these circumstances (unless this is how it happened in the comic series). What was the point of taking the kid off the farm only to bring him back? If they weren’t sure of what they wanted to do with him then they should have talked it over. Instead, they waste gas, ammunition, and could have gotten themselves killed.

With that said, I do like the fact they chose to focus on a few characters instead of having everyone on screen at once.

I don’t think the kid is going to break. Which only means one thing…

You’re the only one bro.
Shane is the number 1 reason to watch this show so far this season with it’s reduced budget and scaled back effects.
90% of the rest of the cast get like one mention but Shane is a fucking superstar and will leave this series a god if he live’s or dies.

Shane dominate’s every scene he’s in with sheer presence alone.
Bring the kid back is a dual edged sword.
They need able hands and they need them badly if they want to be able to handle the work load needed to survive.
While supplies could potentially be in short supply the more hands able to do the work the better the chance’s of creating a settlement that can thrive.
I am glad they finally address’d the ammo situation.
But there has to be a reloading kit in the town somewhere.
Always at least a shotgun sheller close.
It’s really easy to create reloads.

Anyone else think the “No bite/must be a scratch” is hella foreshadowing?

Ah, yes. 100% yes.

They’re trying to make him more understanding after he and Rick had their “bro fight”, since I guess The Walking Dead is like anime and real men talk with their fists or something stupid. At least that’s the way I saw it. We’ll see how he handles himself next episode.

Dude i had fistfights with my best friend at least 15 to 20 times in our 20 years of friendship.
That is how men deal with major shit.

When someone whips a wrench at the other guy, it is a signal that the matter is concluded and the two parties return to civil discourse.

^

The way I saw it, Rick was going to leave Shane… but then he walked by the 2 cops or whatever laying dead next to each other. He then was like “Damn, I can’t leave my best friend and partner to die no matter what he did to me. We ride and die together!”
