The best thing about this show is not necessarily the zombies it’s what would life realistically be like if this happens and we see it with this group of people. I always preferred character driven stories over plot based ones as they produce a more emotional attachment with me. I do not agree with a lot of characters feelings that there isn’t a safe place in this new world. Considering zombies are rotting corpses weather would wipe out a great deal of them on their own. Also, there’s a very small possibility that an extremely cold place like Anartica would have a ton of them or a random remote island.
