slow zombies ftw.
i like how this whole one hour is equivalent to only a few pages in the comic. the comic skipped a lot of stuff where the show managed to flesh things better imo.
this show has got some serious potential. Its a good mix of drama and horror, the last 10 minutes were intense. Looks to be an expensive show to make, hope the ratings stay up so we get to see more.
I don’t know if I want to keep reading the comics so I don’t get spoiled! Both the comic and the show rock! Especially at the part where I left in the comic is just… wow. I am curious how much they change in the tv series.

1st ep was good. I’m ready for more scares/action/couple drama lol
First episode was pretty faithful to the source material so I enjoyed it. I am curious to see how long this is going to run though since the writer of comic doesn’t have much intention of slowing that down anytime soon.

No Berserk is Manga that is completely fucking amazing, that had a very short animated series run.
Which ended at a complete cliffhanger.
Which excited and pissed off fans alike.
Years have passed since the 25 episode animated series, and we are still fairly far away from more, though it has been anounced that there will be more animated Berserks.
The Manga series is still on going though it has stalled a bit, since it wants to avoid advancing the main conflict story line as long as possible, because Gatts/Griffith resolution is quite probably the end of the series to most.
I don’t much about the comic, so I thought this was going to be a rip of 24 Days Later, but I’m really impressed especially for a pilot!

Just watched this today. Yeah all I kept thinking, besides it being awesome, was how expensive it must be to make and then after reading that it’s a miniseries well duh, I guess they can go all out. Fan-bloody-tastic cinemetography. I like the work on the tank scene, the hospital exit, and the opening.
33, look 20-25…so, no noticable aging going on. I think my love affair with the weights keep me young. You ever notice that among active lifters (who don’t fool around with tanning for competitions and crap), you can’t really tell how old they are? There’s gotta be something to that. Maybe the increased protein intake allows for longer overall cell regeneration abilities, slowing down visible signs of age.
And yes…I am currently searching for an early leak of tomorrow’s ep.
Series is good so far. I lol’ed when he fell off the horse and the zombies didn’t instantly pounce on him.
I think the zombies have a hindbrain thing going in terms of prey selection. Big/plenty = better. They might pass up a child to get to a man. Of course, the horse thing might’ve been a fluke, ie that was the only way they could make it play out like the comic. Although they could have just had the horse rear and throw Rick over a car that had run up on the sidewalk next to a building, making the horse the only visible target…but still, this series…maaaan, this series is owning so far.

No it makes sense that the walkers went after the horse first. Big = more satisfying. And it’s not like they sill weren’t after the guy as evidence by his escape into the tank.

BTW, shouldn’t the horse have been kicking and smashing faces in? I mean that would be hard to film, but it occurred to me just now.
Yeah and that would have lasted all of five seconds. Hordes of zombies > all living creatures.
I wanna see how they handle the warning sign reveal at Wiltshire Estates. The comic version was creepy.
