I remember t hem mentioning 10 months. But I guess I never found the error in my mind since it’s been 1 month since the outbreak (Rick waking up) and then the whole season 2 was at least 2 weeks.

Another solid episode as usual. I really like the guy they got to play The Governer. He stole the show. And I even don’t mind his look now, actually works better for the show. Who’d honestly trust a guy who looked like the comic book version The Governor?

If the governor wasn’t crazy, it seems like having a bunch of soldiers be a part of your community would be a win/win situation.
It might’ve been a weak admission, like “gladly, thank you God for not forcing me to kill myself”. Real deep shit once you consider the agony of losing one’s family, bridled together with an oath to their country and a passive submission to a God that doesn’t allow suicide. I couldn’t shut up throughout the entire episode. Shit was intense. I had just gotten off of playing Fallout “blindfolded” too.

Good episode. As I predicted it focused on Merle and Michonne and Andrea. Nice setup for the upcoming war.

Yeah, I couldn’t help but notice that. I watched that scene a couple of times and there were a few of them who literally stood in place looking around confused while everyone was getting shot! lol
I’m not military myself, but I’ve been led to believe that soldiers are trained to duck and cover and return fire when they could.
Also, the governor’s men must be crack shots because there wasn’t a single bullet hole in any of the vehicles. Amazing. Anyway, I’m just being a nitpicky slut, overall I liked the episode. I still can’t get those dirty Michonne looks out of my head.

Yup I point that out too, lmao and judging by the amount of time he spent on screen while the GOvernor was walking down from his house, it’s like they EMPHASIZED IT
Also when the Governor got on top of the Humvee to tell the people of woodbury how they got the vehicles, and he deliberately (and predictably) lied to his people, I was like. DAYUM even in an Zombie Apocalypse politicians still gonna lie.
I happened to stumble upon the rerun as it got to the scene, and yeah I just noticed the Woodbury men fired so many bullets in an excess of maybe 30-40 seconds, those guys literally looked left and right in the most stiff position and they were all poker face “derp? huh?” NONE of them even tried to take cover, for trained soldiers they did pretty bad. Not to mention none of the Governor’s men were wearing camouflage, if the soldiers were more alert like they were trained to be, espiscially when everywhere is a hostile territory they would have noticed the Governor’s men setting up an ambush. Especially since they got men on higher ground. Also kind of stupid for that one soldier to be shirtless, damn zombie apoclypse and literally being super exposed.
All of the governor’s men were uncomfortable about shooting the soldiers, they were all Americans, these are still technically their own men. It’s a dog eat dog world now but still these men were out there to protect the people and they just betrayed them. But it’s still clear that Merle is aware of what the Governor is capable of and is watching his steps.
