They are faint because they are just supposed to be base sketches that I can tweak and fix as I see fit/find out what is crappy about them.
Jinbei’s sketch was really boring. So I did a whole new picture which I feel is a lot more Jinbei’y.

i wish i was better at art my self so i could provide something more helpful that just ‘i like these pictures’ 
tbh i prefer the big ‘in your face’ picture of the fat guy
and the new girl pic is more interesting for sure but having the snake disappear off the bottom of the page somehow feels wrong when you see the tail in the other pic.
could you do the girl like that but with the bottom of the snake heavily perspectived (non-word there sorry) at like a 3/4 view so the floor where the tail of the snake will end is directly on the page just under where her arse is situated ont he paper?
(hope some of that makes sense)

when posting your faint sketches just adjust hue,brightness and contrast in photoshop to make them clearer for web viewing.

what are these for anyway?
They are faint because they are drawn with blue pencil a lot. It’s not meant to scan well. 
These are for a trip to Otakon. They are from One Piece and are the Shichibukai. Shichibukai - The One Piece Wiki - Manga, Anime, Pirates, Marines, Treasure, Devil Fruits, and more
The snake is real big so to have it be rolled up and show it’s tail would mean I would have to put the girl at the toppest part of the page. I want her to be near the center and havign the snake be off the page is a nice compromise for that.
The fish man picture is just more according to his character. Plus I wanted it to be a little more actiony.
The main part is just getting the anatomy right and then getting the character of the character to show through.
Here are two more pictures, I am almost done with the rough drafts and will begin cleaning them up substantially starting sunday.

Did a new Kuma and Moria because 1. I felt I could do a better Kuma and 2. Both the Moria pictures were teh weakest of all the pictures I’ve done for this. Now I feel like he is better represented pose wise and composition wise.

Well I was working on the Crocodile picture trying to do it as fast as possible and ended up messing it up because I skipped one of my usual steps trying to be cute.
Now I’ve realized I am not going to get these pictures finished by Otakon and have decided to just shut it down for tonight.
I’ll finish the final three Shichibukai pictures, but just not while getting all jacked up on caffeine to try and finish them in 1 day.
Dude you should totally do Perona (and Usopp~).
