John Dimaggio…another guy who happens to be everywhere.
Really enjoyed his work as the Joker in that Red Hood movie.

Kevin Michael Richardson is another VA…funny guy.
At first I didn’t like him as the Joker on “The Batman”, but after a few seasons he grew on me.
Weird I still remember him most from “Homeboys from Outer Space”.

I also want to throw in the Dobson brothers: Paul, Brian and Michael.
Space Marine Gabriel Angelos is my favorite Space Marine because of Paul…

He is indeed the fucking man. I think of him more as an actual actor, though, not a VA, since he wasn’t just the voice, he WAS Gollum and that monkey.

Shout outs to D.C. Douglas (Wesker) and Reuben Langdon (Dante).

Reuben in particular totally redefined Dante since he was ALSO the motion-capture actor (and, according to interviews, also helped direct DMC3), so he pretty much IS Dante the same way Andy Serkis IS Gollum.

And of course, D.C. Douglas is just…I’ll leave this video (which, yes, is actually D.C. Douglas)

Right here, folks. The man, the myth, the Serkis. He voiced and Mo’Capped King Bohan in Heavenly Sword. I believe he was also the Mo’Cap and voice director for this game.

alot of people say this about english dubbed voices in anime, eventhough they cant speak a word of Japanese. Makes me wonder if people just prefer the way Japanese sounds.

A lot of it is just people who don’t know shit about moonrunes being impressed by a language they don’t understand in the slightest. The Japanese do take voice-acting as a profession more seriously, to be fair. Not only are there full-blown seiyuu (Japanese term for voice actor) schools, the degree to which certain roles are tied to their actors is almost unheard of elsewhere - the only State-side equivalent I know of is Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime. But, nobody should ever pretend that they don’t phone it in or shit it up on certain roles (case in point, anybody who doesn’t have Dante, Vergil, Trish and Wesker set to ENG needs their ears cleaned).

I thought the BB series had fantastic english VA’s. I may not like the game, but the voice work was better than the Japanese to me in those titles.

I forgot his name, but I’ll say the voice actor for Chris Redfield in RE5 and MVC3/UMVC3.
I think he also does the voice of sonic and is the narrator of “Say yes to the Dress.” My wife got a kick out of it when I told her that.

Oh, and definitely D.C. after watching that Wesker Old Spice video. lol

I really like Laura Bailey, but I don’t like her Chun Li. I like most of the Japanese and English voice actors from Urusei Yatsura.
