I know this is a VF5R thread but I will ask here anyway: Is VF5(360) graphically arcade perfect? Are people still playing online?

Considering how badly it tanked here, I really wouldn’t waste my time. :sad:
Even if it gets a JP only release that’s fine. Just as long as it hits console.
There still isn’t much incentive. VF5 sold 100k on PS3 and 15k on X360 over there. Releasing it on console would hurt their ARC revenue as well.

No, other way around, he went from S+ to D. The first list is the latest 5R Tier list by Arcadia. The second list is the VF5 version C tier list.

I’ve been kind of wondering about this; maybe you can enlighten me since you have access to the game. Why is Goh so much higher up now, and what keeps Taka down in D?

Of course they’re playing the 360 port, and it’s possibly mandatory that they use the 1st party (pad) controller.
I’m curious as to whether any of the actual top Japanese VF players have gotten in on this, or if it’s just a collection of reasonably skilled random dudes. I can’t read Japanese so I have no idea what those names are, haha. Either way, it would definitely be whoever was willing to put up with a shitty d-pad and a now outdated version for a shot at prize money.
edit: Whoops, player names in English are in the descriptions, hahah. So now I have to admit I don’t know my VF players at all. Itazan and Fuudo are big names, I think…
