Holy shit! I had no idea the demo was out. I got my EX stick a few weeks back and I’m DLing the demo right now. I’m unnecessarily excited about finally playing the game.
is europe really getting the game first? I have it listed as the 26th but from what I can see the US version doesn’t drop till the 30th. anyone clear that up?
thanks for the link, Im not a fan of the new ''Now Loading'' 3 frame Akira gif looking thing at the bottom... and since Im not a fan of Green, I`m sad that the Yellow circle thingy is now GREEN.
But I am still picking it up.
As for controllers and sticks, I got myself a Madcatz 360 wired controller and I ordered a Hori 360 wired controller from play-asia.
As for the Hori stick, it’s not a HRAP so me no getting it
I believe the only stick available for X360 is the DOA4/EX2 build.
The stick made for VF5 for X360 made by Hori is in fact a clone of the DOA4 stick they made previously. I’m sure RayBladeX knows that. :wgrin:
I haven’t tested the Hori VF5 stick yet myself but I have heard good responses from it. But everyone agrees that it does not match the quality put into Sega’s own VSHG stick for the PS3 which most hardcore VF players have been using to date. Plus I’m sure a custom built stick with authentic arcade parts will top the Hori VF5 stick.
A majority of players wish they could use their VSHG sticks on the 360. Some have already started modding them for use on Microsoft’s console.
I rented VF4 when I was heavy into CvS2 and 3S, and didn’t really give it much of a chance. The stages were kinda boring, the voices were terrible, I didn’t really like any of the styles portrayed by the characters. Sound effects annoyed me (listen to VF4’s Jacky’s “One Inch Punch” throw).
But lately I’ve been playing http://kwonho.ijji.com/ , which is more or less a direct rip of VF characters, with even more boring stages, worse graphics, no voices…
I played the demo of VF5 and I’m like, “OMG. I MUST OWN THIS GAME.”
It seems more “combo friendly” to me. As if the time needed for links and stuff has been reduced. I can almost dial-a-combo with Eileen. I’m very pleased, in my scrubbiness.
