I bought a PS3 just to play VF5 and I’m super excited to get the 360 rev in a few weeks.
Oh dang, I thought it was more than 3k. Still though lol… this particular Arcade… it’s whack. I mean, I should be promoting it in every positive way considering it IS an arcade and DOES have a couple fighters. But if you knew this place lol… odds are…

The PS3 version is a fine port, actually. The problem is that it’s not version C and you can exploit the AI (but who gives a shit about that really).
Oh, and of course the lack of online play.
i think 3k is just for the game and hardware that you put into a cabinet, not for an actual cabinet that is vf5 ready.
^Correct. I hear the total package (Lindbergh hardware, VF software, arcade cabinet with LCD screen) is around 10K. :wasted:

VF5 is coming just in time with the arrival of the 65nm 360s, (depending how much old stock your local stores have)

Yeah forgot about that, however you don’t need to buy the official Lindberg cab Shag.
Any cabinet will do, just like how they used Sega Blast City at SBO for VF5. The arcade in San Diego has the game in a old american cab.
You lose resolution sure, but hey at least you get 100% input timing (analog display). In fact you guys can probably convert your dual cab set up from FT -> VF5 if you wanted, save some money and space.

If you are interested in VF or want get competitive try supporting some of the events, stuff like VTYME is picking up momentum and will help keep interest in VF up(and hopefully a spot again at EVO).

I wouldn’t really consider those ranking battles for Colorado reflective of anything, yet. Wait another month or so then they will.
That’s a good list of events though, good lookin out.
I was talking to my CO peeps about this, but what is the best way to “shake” out of a move? Wiggle back and forth as fast as you can? 360 motion while mashing on the buttons? Hold guard and wiggle and mash?

What again? VFDC goes up and down often these days. Just yesterday I was using the VFDC Wiki for El Blaze.
