LOL @ Sony. It still sucks that VF5 won’t be online, which means I probably won’t be playing it for long unless I can get my friends hooked on it, which isn’t gonna happen.

Seriously, works in my favor as I was favoring getting a 360 out of my own furgal nature but the VF5 on PS3 stung me worst than anything.

There isn’t anything concrete about MGS4 coming to 360 at all; just IGN posting some rumors to freak people out.
I was just about to correct my post earlier on the 360 and VF5 since it was confirmed today. Though VF5 will release after the PS3 I wonder if it will still be version B like the PS3 VF5.
Damn just found out that the 360 will have version C but is subject to change.
AM2 said there will be no online play for any version of the game.
The question now is does that mean VF5 “Evolution” for the PS3 late summer 2007?
I would find it very odd if Sega wants 2 different versions out for the different platforms in such a short span.
Maybe I was mistaken, but from the interviews I’ve read, it doesn’t seem that there will be many updates released via the web, so I would assume a PS3 re-release or re-packaging to coincide with Version C?
Then again, this is the first they’ve mentioned of a Version C that I know, so I’ll have to take it with a grain of salt until I hear otherwise.

I think when Sega told Sony exclusive I guess they just meant Japan exclusive (pertaining to VT3 and VF5). =x

Not a lot of people I know like playing VF, and the only guy who loved it quit…
Sad, really. The guy kinda got me hooked back on VF4evo, we played around 100 matches. Took me about 50 to find the zone with mine, Aoi, and then after I won 50 in a row. I love the psychology factor of the game, and I after a while I could force him into situations where I was at an advantage… It’s insane.
I understand why no online play, but it still saddens me.
Technically VF5 on PS3 is exclusive if Sony is getting version B and MS is getting version C, they aren’t really porting over the same game.
Still Sony just got a RE4 job done on them, although literally in Japan, I doubt it will really affect Sony’s VF5 sales.
