That is the Sf4 panel you get with the capcom sf4 kit. Per posted a pic of the whole kit. You get the game, the panel (ink spot one), and the card reader. I think its like $6000.
Actually, the panel comes separately. The kit comes with the networking cables, the board, 2 posters, taito type x2, and I believe that’s it. I do know though that you have to purchase the panels separately.
He actually made it himself I believe (TheRealNeogeo from Akihabarashop.jp). I asked him about it once and he said that to construct it he used a REAL Viewlix cabinet control panel. He cut it in half and used that part as the face of the stick. It is wired inside for PS3 I believe and has a removable USB cord. The bottom is see through plexi as well and also states Akhihabara shop. He said that it is his personal stick and he did it for fun. If you want to order the parts to make one expect to spend upwards of $500.
What is the size of the monitor on a viewlix cab? 32" right?
Just reading this topic, makes me want my Street Fighter IV TE Stick all that much more now, since it’s pretty much basically a portable Vewlix control panel.
I find it ironic that the Street Fighter IV Cabs are all 32 inch screens.
Because I just recently bought a 32 inch 1080p Toshiba Regza LCD HDTV.
Talk about bringing the Arcade experience home.
I have pretty much everything I need to have a near arcade perfect experience for SFIV at home. The right sized screen and the right controls.
This is going to be so awesome, the the wait is starting to hurt.
I wonder if I should get the HDMI cables to play Street Fighter IV in 1080p, or is the game’s true native resolution at 720p?
I haven’t experienced any problems, and I play time crucial games such as Gradius and R-Type via my PS2 on it, There IS a Game Mode, but I never tried it to see if it makes a difference, the game seems to play the same as it always has, and I’ve been playing them for years, so I would know if there is a control issue because timing is VERY important for shmups.
If I could get my hands on an empty “Capcom edition” steel/red panel (or at the very least just the damn Capcom edition red ring decal, I could easily cut my own stainless steel panel to the right dimensions) I would build a box around it and put clear/red Seimetsu buttons with a LS-32 and red bubbletop.
That would be cool, if your lucky, per will get them in. I’m pretty sure he’s getting the standard blank vewlix in soon and possibly the inkspot capcom one. Personally I don’t care for the stainless as much but it would still own most other sticks.
