its not a real season finale…they tend to split up seasons. so the next one will probably be around winter time. last year had 16 episodes so far we only had 8. it tends to take them a long time to make a season so i imagine they split it up to make it seem like a shorter span since season 5 & 6 were renewed together so their probably working on 6 now.

I didn’t get it at first but for some reason I randomly thought about this episode today and realized Billy’s mom is the woman in colonel gentleman’s flashback. Action Man’s “crush”.
He said he had a thing for “goody two-shoes” or something like that, and she’s in the superhero retirement home. Action man also said he’d been trying to have sex with her for around 30(or 40, I forget) years, which lines up chronologically.
Yeah, as a season finale, the only thing that was resolved was a slightly new status for the Monarch and folk along with Hank being Hank and possibly knocking Dean out of his near season long emo sulk at the end.
Hell, Hank made this damn episode, which just makes me more pissed off that I have to wait for these motherfuckers to show the rest of the season.
I love the contrast between Hank and Dean. Half glass full vs half glass empty. I liked the episode a lot… as that. Merely an episode to the series. But as a “season finale” it should have been a bit stronger.
Dean isn’t going to be so emo anymore, I’m okay with this.
I hope he still looks at things realistically though.

So somewhere along the line is going to be a one hour special at a TBD date.
Ah, so another one hour premiere episode, I guess if they were going to suddenly stop anywhere this one does leave off in decent enough place.
Still no love for the short ass season, although taking into account the season premier was an hour, the Halloween special and the fact that the real finale is being held off… yeah logic still doesn’t lessen my disdain.
