I’m thinking Galactus.
Wait, how do you know he’s boning that dudes girl?
Also, yea, I suspect Monarch might be a venture.
Ball didn’t crush rusty, visual tricks
Rusty is always aware of impending death traps
Good to see the Revenge Society(even for five seconds lol), they are in my top 5 of favorite characters. These 8 episode seasons are great in my opinion as I feel the episode quality has gone up but the seasons definitely are shorter. How will they tie up all the lose ends of the season in one episode remains to be seen.
Anyone notice that the guard saw past Rusty’s and Billy’s disguise? He’s pretty genre savvy!
I want to say you’re right, but the writers don’t tend to make things simple or easy. He probably did get crushed, but through some complicated plot or something he’s resurrected by Orpheus, or Killinger, or some kind of magic user. Or he survives horribly disfigured, hopefully a brain/head in a jar or something, and has to make a new body.
Or he could just be dead, I would not be surprised if he’s dead forvever.
In fact I kind of think it’s a good thing, Rusty is/was a great character, everything important relating to him has been wrapped up already anyway, he’s been doing surprising well this season despite being the biggest failure in the cast arguably. Feels right, I can say good bye to the character at this point.
This is the Venture bros. and I think Dean is probably going to be the main focus from now on if their serious about Rusty.
For a series that has characters that actually change and grow, even killing off Rusty would be quite bold.
Are they going to do it permanent?
Is it going to be a Rusty the Robot?
A Dr Venture Head in a jar?
A new Venturestein?
Or did he literally side step that death trap?
And then if Rusty is dead/maimed and comes back, does that mean he can become evil now? Just like every other bad guy, many of them had tragic, life altering super science accidents.
edit:
Or will St Augustus Cloud collect Rusty?
After watching the episode again.
Even freeze framing it, there is no way Rusty could have side-stepped that in time.
And the injured Vendata said something about his wife, and a plane going down. Didn’t Monarchs parents die in a plane crash? So Vendata is Monarch’s dad? I want to say no, but I know the Venture team wouldn’t put something like that in if it didn’t mean anything.
I wonder why he tried to kill Rusty though.
Vendata was created the year Monarch’s dad was killed. So yea, possible and something I am hoping for. They already hinted at some story going there with the picture of Rusty, the Monarch, and their parent’s.
This guy is still writing articles on every Venture episode:

what if rusty is actually a clone and didnt realize it. like his dad did it and programmed him in some fashion to not remember or keep going on with science stuff. he seems to be in just as much danger as hank and dean as a kid…actually moreso imo. cause his dad seemed to give 0 fucks about his safety not even a bodyguard.
He had that boxer and an indian kid
Action man just constantly fucking with him is all kinds of insane
“not tonight rusty, not tonight”
I want more action johnny
Woah, I totally forgot about Swifty.
Now I know who that black guy was in that picture with the Ventures and the Monarch’s family.
Swifty flew a plane in fucking boxing gloves man
Nah, one of the best long running jokes in this series is that Dr. Rusty Venture is a a bad guy in all but name. If he wasn’t the son of one of the previous generation’s greatest heroes and a child celebrity, he would probably be in the Guild or dead.
I mean he sells weapons to governments and all that. I don’t think he is evil, moreso that he is greedy.
JJ is somebody who was the true successor to Dr. Venture, and it shows. No appearances at all, beyond being in space. But his inventions are everywhere.
Must have a Ventron toy
In this preview… you could be wrong. We all gotta wait for Sunday though. This gives me flashbacks about how when we thought the Venture bros actually died in that intro montage to the debut of season 2.

I remember seeing the final episode of season one. I was like, WTF, the boys are dead?! (Interrobang required). And then I had to wait until season 2 aired to find out the boys are cl
cl
clllllllllaaaaaaaa
This time at least I’m only waiting a weekend to find out (or am I, are they going to put it off)?
Yup.
Like Phantom Limb was saying to Doctor Girlfriend on their first date. Society slaps us evil doers on the wrist, but then turns around and makes war.
I’d buy that for a dollar!
Probably magic
Was that the season finale?
As an episode it was great, my third favorite of the season even.
As a season finale, it was super lame compared to the previous ones.
The previous episode would have made a great season finale, really.
