Hmm I’m only getting 7.1K with my green vial combo. What I’m doing right now is:

c.LK c.MK(1) c.HP > j.MP(1) j.HP xx dash j.MP(1) j.HP > land c.MK(1) s.HP xx QCF P > dash s.LK s.HP xx QCF P > dash s.MK(1) s.HP xx QCF P > dash c.LP s.HP xx QCF P > c.HP > j.LK(1) j.MP(1) j.HP xx air dash j.MK(1) j.HK(2) > land > j.LP j.MP(1/2) j.HP > land s.LP s.LP s.LP s.MP s.MP s.MK s.HK HK HK xx QCF HK xx QCF KK

You need to put as many hard hitting attacks as you can in at the beginning and as few weaker attacks or multi hitting attacks as possible. Look at my mid screen green vial combo. I only do j.MP early because I have to and other than that it’s all hard attacks until I’ve used them all up in the IPS. It does 7600+ too.

Sometimes I don’t understand this IPS… I was trying to make a combo which uses all 6 if your air moves as a starter during some point in the combo, but nooooooooooooooooo the last one had to be detected on the IPS… Anyone know why? Could this be related to our throw j.B glitch?

edit: figured it out… Can’t end my combo stage 3 string with j.HP or else I can’t use j.HP as a starter, w/e ignored and not worried about using j.HP as a starter since j.HK is more damage and the combo is easier.

What is Valentine’s easier restand combos? I can’t find a good one I can do consistently for the life of me. =/

Valentine is free to so many jumping HP’s and HK’s in this game. Cerebella/Parasoul/Ms Fortune with a lockdown assist in the corner is hell.

j.hk is more dmg for both hits & j.hp is more dmg for 1 hit~

Easiest restand involves throwing a j.mp in your aerial (it lowers the most & is multi-hit to boot!)

without assists with 2LK starter it’s 4594

with the peacock item drop assist it’s 5334

If you replace the j.HKs in this combo with j.HP you get ONE whole more damage while making the combo harder… I don’t think it’s worth it. But yes you’re right

Dude, I did juss that & got only 7.5k (prolly for starting with j.mp) but it’s way harder to land & hk on mediums or lights. You did it on Cerebella, so it was ez to start with j.hp. It’s all situational.

Swift Edit: I don’t land & hk, I land & hp (way more dmg) That’s why I start with j.mp to get em low for the reland, hp --> Syringe, from there I alternate through normals starting with the most dmg’ing (c.mk) but save c.lk for the alpha blade otg. THAT should breed max dmg (got 7.5k on val) you try your syringe combo on val & lemme know what you can get out’ve it!

Yeah for high damage, try to get an early 5HP, it’s our highest damage normal

I’m just using her as a hybrid rushdown(IAD) runaway/poking character. Are you guys using her solo? Or with teammates?

Solo

Start using her standing HK. That shit stops a whole lot of approaches real fast.

I think she sucks solo (no GTFO me, rather unsafe medium and hard normals on the ground) and she needs meter to really bully people with anything other than her normals. She’s great second to DHC into and works great coming in with meter so you can scare people with an actual reversal technique after setting up poisons. Give her a good assist to cover her ground strings and get people off and you can do whatever.

3 character team with her in second spot basically and Napalm Pillar in the back. You can see my whole team in my sig that I’m running ATM. I like it a lot so far.

Solo should never happen. No character is good solo.

I had her with Peacock/Fillia I feel she does best as an anchor if she has meter to burn. I guess I could use Parasoul as well I already use her on my Cerebella/Para team.

I’m guess maybe I need to use a syringe and go for a ton of standing combos at the end? I really want the kill combo lol

Well that’s just like… your opinion, man.

In my opinion it’s very balanced for each possible team set. There is no “right answer” it’s just a how you feel more comfortable with x, y, or z thing.
