Exactly what are you having trouble with when dealing with Chris? Sniping your drones with magnum? Are you landing on mines when you triangle jump him? You should try to scare him a bit with EM disruptor, and hope he does a whiffed magnum, cause that has recovery. You can use that time to call drones or whatnot. If you’re using Hidden Missiles, you could jump, air dash up, fly and hover over his head, call hidden missiles and dash past him, essentially making Doom invulnerable to attacks. (Unless you call him too close or something like that.) Then when the hidden missiles fall, if he’s not jumping you have a free mix up. You just have to be a bit patient and know it’s not always your turn.

I know the Chris match up, I’m just saying a smart Chris with protection is one the worst/frustrating match ups in the game for Magneto.

Anything with Jam Session rocking in front of it… especially Zero.
In General Jam Session and Tatsu backed teams are hard to fight though

Tatsu backed teams don’t give a fuck about anything you throw at them. I swear Akuma should say “we don’t give a fuck” every time someone does tatsu assist. Jam Session is a threat, but Zero doesn’t scare me at all.

P.S. Zero/Dante/Vergil is my pocket team, and I just started toying with the Morrigan bs

Not sure if this is known yet, but I was bored in training mode today and came up with a cool variation of the hypergrav loop but prolly does less damage. It’s stylish nonetheless. This only works off a raw hypergrav, so I would only use it off throws (corner). Throw, light hypergrav… wait till you are at the peak of the hypergrav lift, jm jh light magnetic blast x2, stand h, light hyper grav, wait till you are at the peak of the hypergrav … jm jh light magnetic blast x2, stand h, light hyper grav… wait till you’re at the peak of the hypergrav height… j m jh light magnetic blast, standing h, light hypergrav, standing h, s, jh, l disruptor, tempest
It’s really just a combo for fun and it takes practice getting the timing right.

ive done that too. except i only do it in match against big characters for some style points I

Yeah I coulda done a lot more reps of other stuff as well. Just kept it short and sweet to make a quick vid with. If you noticed I stuck with two reps with xf3 hype grav S loops when I could of done way more. And I also stuck with just 3 st.H xx hype grav when I could of added about 50 lol. I just wanted to show off my Rom

you can get it faster than this, it’s just not too great for my phone camera. and it will still work with S, cause it’s an airdash down back. but H works just as well.

Two things I’ve never seen any players use in the corner… I’ve always use this with drones

After corner S ender… Attraction/Repulsion, Normal Tri Jump Cross up(auto correction) S. Really good for when you have enough space in the corner to cross up. Probably the best j.S hitconfirm setup since you have the option to ADDB, j.L or j.S

At the beginning of this video I use it to get in the corner. I’m surprise no one notice this.

Screen Entry…SJ, j.M, ADD, j.S<-- This is the safe/fastest way to get them to the ground and probably where j.M shines the most since j.M is better than j.H vs hypers on entry. Also, this is good against air dashers and you can convert it they don’t block. The high/low/Fly mix ups you get from this are very good. That low fly tech you guys found a few weeks ago work here best.

I found two ways of inputting this myself… either input the magblast before crossing over then pressing the buttons after switching sides. :faster version, harder timing

or inputiing the magblast in reverse as is a dash magblast cross over then dashing (easier but slower)

is there a more consistent version or a shortcut to getting it?
