I actually dont mind the Mblast motion. I plink dash it so its like a very aggressive way to come in…much like what Ika Zuchi No Kami is saying lol.

And I’ll have to try out Akuma.

Also with the Magnetic Blast motion, I can easily see where capcom is coming from, it’s a built in Tiger Knee from the motion itself, that would be ok if it was that simple, but the fact that it’s much safer and superior off an airdash is what makes the motion awkward. But all in all, its just another motion and it’s simply muscle memory and practice, its basically an invereted qcb, don’t see whats too hard about that, just needs getting used to, spam it long enough and it wont be a problem. And I agree, if Magnetic Blast was a reverse DP or some shit, that would make it more difficult to do off a adf/addf in comparison to the 896 motion which can also be plink’d. Let’s just be glad we dont have to pretzel motions in this game.

Id use akuma instead of drones but I cant find a solid way to confirm off it

j.L or j.M, H and S work too but I just find L and M easier
even dash up jab jab launch
are all pretty solid ways to confirm it.

Every mags corner combo should end in an S, sj. H xx L disruptah xx purple popcorn.
My current corner combo is:
any starter, S, sj.H adf H xx Lblast, land, j.H xx Lblast, st.H S, sj.H adf H, st.H xx L hypergrav, sjuf, addf S, st.H S, sj.MMHS, wesker assist, L hyergrav, st.H S, sj.H xx L disruptor xx tempest.

It does 850ish off the usual starters, and imo leaves you in a more advantageous position for mixup after the super than the usual ground hypergrav xx tempest.

also as a side note people really need to start going for those ‘almost inescapable’ mixups after throws into combos. Throw > dash up tridash S, call wesker as soon as you hit the ground, then go for double tridash Ls, into the above combo does 100% to wolvy.

yes you can hard tag outta the reset but the positioning puts mags at advantage of getting a free combo on the next combo if you’re expecting it.

I found the following confirms

IAD Boxdash L Blast into crH, consistent and solid and is an easy confirm
Wavedash into S, also consistent
Boxdash jM into JH , Ground S or crH, very inconsistent and spacing dependent.

Someone who plays Magneto/Akuma should have better confirms than me though. I still think Drones is the best assist for any tridasher, whileas Tatsu is better for teleport chars due to its priority and speed, and Magneto has a harder time converting in ultimate in a real game with the tatsu nerf making them recover before they drop down to crH.

Edit: One really cool tidbit, that I’m not sure you guys know yet. The easiest confirm off any Magneto Throw at any height midscreen(outside corner), Superjump, normal jump, ground throw is boxdash L blast into crH, it works off any height and is simply braindead and brilliant, you need an airdash left to do it though, but it’s a very easy confirm especially for superjump height.

Guys. I don’t know if anybody else already knows this, but triangle jump H and triangle jump S combo into sj triangle jump L, and makes a true blockstring.

Any tips on Disruptor XX tempest? I can’t get it to link even if I do jH xx addf or add xx disruptor xx tempest, they drop down too fast T_T.

you want them to be above you when you hit hte H, but the most important part is to cancel the beam into tempest EXTREMELY fast.

Edit: Ignore htat, jH addf L disruptorxx tempest is so braindead easy that ill incorporate it into all my bnbs now, it worked on every char I’ve tried so far, heavies, racoon,amaterasu,normal size.

Magneto/Dante/Akuma, Magneto/Vergil/Akuma, and Magneto/Zero/Akuma are mad good though. Dem pseudo-DHC Glitches
