For the Alioune loop without the cr.H, how do you guys time it consistently where the st.S connects after the 2nd Magnetic Blast? Is there a ground dash implemented at all? I’m not hitting it consistently yet and I feel that this version is better after a standard tri-dash hit confirm of jL st.LMHS; I can do the cr.H version just fine with just a hitconfirm of jS cr.H.

Magneto vs. Hawkeye

Both of them absolutely SHIT on 80% of the cast (I mean real talk, some of these match-ups are 10-0)

Honestly I believe Hawkeye to be higher than Magneto in the tier list but that doesn’t really jack shit unless I’m losing, then you’re a fucking tier whoring no skill faggot.

Dude I found out this weekend that Magneto can do aerobics while in the air with Drones/Missiles is the gayest shit for Zero (or anybody).

He’s decent at the game enough to know how to block and do combos consistently, but when you have magneto behind you while you have missiles hitting high and you’re doing some herp derp mix up/unblockable into a free corner combo for 950k. What could you do when Magneto is moving that damn fast that even I can’t see his ass?

Spidey player here with a Mags question for the experts.

I run Spidey/Dante/X, where X used to be Hawkeye. His assist is great, except for the fact that most people tend not to stay on the ground for me to use it, and I personally think that Hawkeye isn’t that great an anchor, which is what I needed for the team.

I was gonna replace him with DOOM, but I’m really starting to like Mags. Both him and Doom are solid anchors, but I would like to think that Mags has the edge because he has more tools than foot dive when it comes to making a comeback.

so who’s the better anchor, in your opinions: Mags or DOOM?

On that team I would definitely play mags over doom because if you guess wrong off calling that one missiles with 7 seconds for the rest of the match you’re done.

In magneto’s case if somebody still has a team left and magneto is on anchor, then he’d still be good wit or without xfactor.

I play both Mags and Doom in various teams and IMO, I hate Doom as anchor. He doesn’t suck but he’s definitely lacking in the comeback factor compared to Mags. He has no fullscreen assist punish abilities nor fullscreen whiff punish abilities, so if you’re falling behind and need that comeback, you’re gonna have to do it the honest way, one by one.

Mags can just Shockwave XF Shockwave and kill 2 characters off the bat granted that they’re not in the corner. + He kills you off any grab, a level 3 that hits anywhere on the screen for retarded damage, and has an XF3 infinite.

I think Mags is a better anchor. His high/low game is absolutely retarted with XF and if they try to upback, Mags will snatch em up real quick. We also saw Mine be very successful running Magneto as anchor, so successful that Wong was actually snapping Magneto in so that he didn’t have to deal with him X-Factored

So, I finally mastered Jill (useable charater) after two months of training and I didn’t think she would work well with magneto. Yo, this sexy bitch has potential to bring back some Mag/Psylocke MvC2 setups, kinda. Anytime you land Magneto’s throw outside the corner, you have a 75%% chance of landing a full damage combos if you let the oppenent escape throw and all you need is that sexy bitch at the #2, the shit is fucking stupid!

Alright guys the wait is over. I don’t know why I didn’t check this out along time ago.

Force Field(DP+L,M or H) is Godlike against some of the bullshit players spam. I even test the assist but didn’t find any reason to pick it over disrupter.

Wish I had the frame data during this test :frowning: here are my results.

Force Field DP+L,M or H

  • L FF comes out instant
  • Shields Magneto from some projectiles
  • After activation Magento is invulnerable for all frames( even recovery)
  • Cancelable
  • Can punish cross ups
  • MAGNETO IS SAFE/INVULNERABLE ON BLOCK - no move in the game can touch him. example see VS Dante
  • If any attacks are on screen during the final recovery frames of FF Magneto can block.

So far, I have only test on three characters and four unblockable setups

Vs SKULL - You know I had to test it on this nigga first. When that fucker goes out the screen all you have to do is look at magneto. you will already be holding back so if he cross up just input Dwn, Dwn - Fwd. VERY EASY to punish meteor smash
FF vs Meteor Smash - FF wins 10/0
Even if he does inferno FF still wins 10/0
If he does the other hyper after meteor smash he will fly behind magneto to the other side of the screen. both characters miss. 5/5
XFC into BnB is the best punish

VS DANTE - Fuck yo S cancel into hammer. The trick to this one is not inputing FF until you see him use hammer. the start up of hammer open a window to input a Light FF. VERY EASY to punish J.S ,hammer spam.

Hammer vs FF is 5/5
Hammer is safe even after activation of FF
FF is safe on block/Magneto is invulnerable.
If the Dante player doesn’t block… FF hits, XFC into BnB
hammer recovers alot faster than FF so Dante can move around, but he can’t attack you with anything because Mag is invulnerable.
FF is cancelable… SHOCKWAVE that nigga for moving.

All normals whiff…

If the player throws out a M,H, or S ----> can be punish after FF recovery
His QCB+L can be punish after FF recovery
