the great thing about all those characters i listed just means more possibilities for an optimal team order. i’m thinking spiderman/sent/doom is a very competent team when played right. you can get combos with that shit ranging up to 850k before MS building about 2.3 meter
Ideally you should be able to get 800k+ with one assist only as you’re going to be using the other one for your neutral. It shouldn’t be a problem with drones, missiles or wall bounce assist. If you’re still having problems reaching it, confirm you hits with a web throw combo instead.
i see what you’re saying. i’m going to try for spidey/mag/doom since i think that **should **be the most optimal team comp
I’m using that team now. Hardest part is confirming off stray emd hits as well as emd sometimes breaking your rush in combos.
i’ve been learning to make the strings safe using emd with a web swing xx web glide then proceed from there

1st place was IFS Justin. He plays Wolvie/Doom/Wesker and has won every tournament in CO in the last 11 months or so. I actually lost to him in Winner’s Semi’s. I had him game 5 and I fucked up. It would have been my set. :( <br>2nd place was Recon and he played Zero/Revolving 2nd character/Strider. I tried calling missiles, I tried calling anything. He covers his assists too well and spaces Spider-Man too good. I am getting better at the MU but with Vajira assist it is still too rough.<br>Recon played Zero/Wesker/Strider against me iirc. He also played Zero/Spencer/Strider and Zero/Doom/Strider in Grand Finals.<div><br></div><div>Also worth noting that as I got higher up in the bracket, my RR actually clutched a quite a few games out for me. Even against people who know the MU. Just playing patient and making traps.</div>
That’s just what you have to do with rocket. As for Vajra assist you have to be aware of it and respect it’s presence. Once you block it you’re free to move almost instantly as he has like no block stun seems like. Naturally zero makes this a bit harder but I’m sure once you get used to it you’ll start doing better. Lets not forget once you block that high up you can call assist again.
Hello everyone…im not new to the forums(been here and read a lot of info thats helped me in the past) but i just recently signed up to get some help i play spidey(ball)/felicia(sand)/virgil(rapid)…spidey and the kitty are there out of character loyalty and i plan to stick with this team any tips to possibly help with the situation such as assist changes and such. oh and virgils there cuz hes a badass. any help would be welcomed, plz and thanks
Im pretty sure I already know the answer to this question, but does spider man build meter well / is he a meter USER? <br><br>My main is Morrigan, and im keeping her in the second slot. Im not running Morridoom because, frankly, I hate doom. I dont care about getting retarded lockdown with missles, as AV + most assists is pretty irritating in itself. I want to play a keep away based game with conservative rushdown thrown in. <br><br>Just curious (aside from missles and cold shot) what assists spidey likes, if hes a good meter builder, if he uses meter more than normal, and what his solo damage output is like.<br><br>Thanks to anyone who answers these questions <3
He has the potential to build a lot of meter but he has to have the rite assist n he doesn’t have to use a lot of meter
How is Spideys synergy with Strider? I assume is pretty decent since spidey gets web zip otgs from Vajra? <br><br>Im thinking about running Spidey / Morrigan / Strider. Ive got a pretty nasty dhc from maximum spider to morrigan…but their assists dont do a whole lot for each other unfortunately…That being said, unless im in the middle of a combo, ill be calling strider in the neutral. <br><br>Any opinions? Does peter absolutely need an assist like bolts / drones / beam / missles ?
Ok im trying to run Spidey, Thor, but i dont know who else to pick at the end. Im cross between Strange with Bolts or Hawkeye with triple arrow or poison tip. Any suggestions? (Besides picking Doom and Dorm lol)<br>
Bolts are really good since spiderman has a lot of overhead options, drones are good for combos and getting in, beams (like mag, doom, IM, Thor, or hawkeyes triple arrows) good for getting in or giving pressure, missiles are better off for combos.
If you are going to run strange I’d suggest him second than on anchor but that’s my opinion.
Strange with bolts is better for thor. Command grab in between bolts. Hawkeye is better for spiderman cause its fast. You wanna go in fast, hit confirm or go out.
I’ve been inspired by Otavio to run Spiderman/Dante. How is Spidey/Dante/Doom? Doom’s movement is a bit clunky, but I guess you grow used to it, right? My main concerns are the synergy between Dante/Doom, if Doom is even a decent anchor, and the lack of a fast otg assist. The reason for an otg assist is so that I can successfully do Spiderman’s Ultimate Web Throw reset. Is it possible without an otg assist? Is it worth it to use Dante’s Crystal or is it too slow? <br><br>Even though Wesker is useful I hate playing as the character everyone uses. I also think Felica and Deadpool are just annoying and aren’t really that good. <br>
