As i mentioned previously Leeds arcade scene kinda died out time ago, mill hill being the 2D arcade.
It’s all about Sheffield, Namco Wonderpark, Alpha 3. I’m there tomorrow saturday july 2nd from 12pm onwards. 50" screen, but
only other fighters are cvs:chaos :/, Soul Calibur 2, and Tekken 5.
Only other good arcade up north is nottingham, but tbh, ive never been. players from there (ben, justin) came up to sheffield one time, and i seem to remember my v-cody owning manz up. lucky v-sak and v-akuma don’t have infinites. in fairness, people not really playing 2d serious atm.
hey i’ve played this shit for TIME now, i was early teens when world warriors came out. been here ever since, bar super turbo times. lived in america for ten years, some kind bud and nice people out there. anyways, im chatting ‘pup’, i’ll be in arcade tomorrow if anyone, cough desk, polarity, are about.

heh - all my cabs are Japanese candys, kinda running a bit low now tho as a lot of em are sold, I’m even gonna start throwing a few cabs up form my personal collection up for sale soon so I can sort somemore cabs when I get back from Japan
Sheffield caterers on Walkley Lane. . . . weird guys, crappy UK wooden cabs and overpriced, they tried to sell me a bootleg SF2 WW for 90 ! ! ! and wanted 15 for some joysticks that were straight from a frankenstein cab, I’ll stick to seimitsus and sanwas thankya muchly

Even tho’ this thread is deader than the 70’s, I’d still like to know the state of troc. Now my weekend’s are free if I may make a a special guest appearance, providing there some ppl to play against and converse with. The future of the UK SF scene is our hands.
Troc still sucks. You can hear people openly complaining about the state of the arcade.
The only somewhat positive addition was the second 3s cab.
That Chunkis guy was wasting our time.
