If somebody tells me he’s only losing to me because he uses just a quarter of his skills(wtf?) then he won’t leave the cab till he either beats me or until he shuts up for good. Thought that I would say hi to everyone, haven’t posted since my return from London on Sunday. Wanted to say that I had a really good time. It was good to see SSMasters and Wilson again, as well as the London crew - MadHax, good to finally meet you even though we didn’t get to play. Chef: didn’t get to play you again!! was a shame cos I wanted to see how I would do against your Ryu. Next time maybe.
Personally I didn’t have much problems with either cabinet this time I came down, but TBH I usually have to play a few games to get used to the whole vs city cabinet myself, it used to be that I felt the screen was too big and too close so I had to sit as far back as I could, but this time round I was quite comfortable.
I felt that both sides wasn’t a problem for me, 2p side stick was noitcably stiffer on Sunday but that didn’t stop me from dashing or tachi gigasing. I was on that side the most on sunday and got some vs play which was cool.
Like Vince and Chunkis mentioned, Vince and I hardly play this game anymore, TBH if I want to improve my game I really need to be playing in London more since part of the reaason why the Londoners are so good is cos of constant varied competition - a note for you Wilson, you really need to get out more if you want your game to improve, be it playing lots of peeps or just getting play on lots of different set-ups. I have to play differently against the Londoners as opposed to Vince since him and I are used to each others game.

PS2 3s Tournament sounds good, if you can find a decent and easily accessible venue. Wasn’t Raju trying to sort out some sort of gaming society at his University? The facilities at Universities like projection screens will be perfect.
Theres nothing wrong with my game just stick set ups I aint used to ( as in the button layouts and them being so close to the stick) that I could not play my game properly. I was pressing MK where LK usually is on our sticks. and hardly being able to dash sucked that stick was terrible.

yes the scout hall was the best place when it came to renting The HY got for super cheap cos he knew the person personally which was ideal something like 50-60 for the weekend basis which i thought was excellent even if the heating system never worked Sr wilson u cant complain.

theres an idea for people if u want to have a hall to use all the time theres a hall in my area in plaistow east london which charge upto 100 for a weekend + 15 for use of the kitchen + another 100 deposit
which is cheap.
cos the place i wanna hold tournaments for this year is costing a huge amount over 400 a time to use 275 for 9 hrs 120 deposit + another 20 for use of the kitchen stuff
if 40 people wanted to play 3s pay and it was defo u each pay 3 each and raise the 115 i would cover the desposit myself just to shut everyone up but if people long it and mess it up then i wont do it either y cos its my friends respected buliding
so u have 30 days to think about what u want to do…
