Random thing I discovered today about Ryan Hart:
I was looking through my old copies of Arcade Magazine while tidying my room, and there was one with an interview with Ryan Hart from just after he won the Tekken 3 world championship. He said (paraphrasing) “I don’t like the 2d games, like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat very much, they don’t seem very strategic to me.”

Went and played some 3S on sunday on the left cabient in the troc, the joystick seems to have a stiff spring and the mk button didnt work.
That’s because too many Ken players have been abusing cr.mk xx SA3 on that side
In all seriousness, I thought that the Troc staff had repaired the cabinets to solve that problem?

Back to the SERIOUS topic at hand - how many 3s cabs are in troc and if its only the one I hope its rectified or not as bad as people make out when we arrive on friday.
Only one 3S cab. Versus City cabinet with Jap sticks / buttons. Last time I was there, about two weeks ago, it seemed fine. It’s only the 2P side as far as I remember that is the “dodgy” one.
Ah cheers for the info - anyway if the 2p side is still knackered when me and ssmasters go down ill report it and see if they will rectify it for us.
Yeah I wanna visit you guys in sheffield, I started to play alpha 3 again since tlk left, but got no money and no job and owe the bank 1000. So until I get that paid for am not going anywhere. Unless tlk and psi both send me the 40 they owe me then maybe I will come up for the weekend.
The sticks at troc are sanwa and I dont know how many sticks they have in stock, So I have not asked for the stick to be replaced since the one in it works ok and its better than putting a new stick that is not sanwa. But I do know they took two new sanwas from the TTT machine out and should have them in the store room somewhere. Anyway I will see about getting the stick chanaged before friday but can`t promise anything, so when wilson comes and gets beat down( and he will get beat down)he has nothing to moan about. The buttons get replaced on the spot if they break so thats a minor.
