Hats off to Giza for thinking of this. This thread is to gather players to play the games online that are in the UFGL. I know that online isn’t a good source for saying who the best is, and it definitely won’t be considered for the rankings anytime soon (you’ll have to travel to major tournaments for that), but we need to make some noise for these games. These games, games that are worthy of being at EVO, or SBO, if it weren’t for the low number of players that take the game seriously, aren’t going to get much more than a passerby if we show them at major tournaments. I’m hoping that this will spark the UFGL, and turn follow in the footsteps of games like XvSF, which was previously not played much at all in tournaments until 8-10 years after it was released, and now gains more entrants in tournaments than newer games like DOA4.
Here are the games (games that are playable online are in bold):
Akatsuki BLITZKAMPF (PC): Download Big Bang Beat (PC): Download Bleach DS 2 (DS): DS Wi-Fi
Dead or Alive 3.1 (XBX)
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 Greatest Hits (PS2) Eternal Fighter Zero (PC): Download Fighting Layer (ARC/PC): Kaillera JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (DC): Kaillera Monster (PC): Download Primal Rage (ARC/PC): Kaillera Project Justice (DC): NullDC Psychic Force 2012 (DC): NullDC Senko No Ronde Rev. Just post information about the games that you play, and what time is good for you to play (remember to keep in mind of time zones). If we get enough people, I think we can start an online ranking system (although it won’t have effect in the offline/true ranking system).
As for fighting games. I know plenty of people on here play 2nd Impact. Probably enough that its probably the most populated underated fighting game on here. Most are just basically 3rd Strike players tired of playing 3rd Strike so they want a fun, more fast paced, better looking, different style, less serious game to play while still playing Street Fighter 3. I try to get a double impact game in whenever I see a person I’ve played double impact with on kaillera.
Games I would LIKE to play, not fighting games but I want someone to compete against me in.
Puzzle De Pon for Neo Geo. Its just like Bust A Move but with a more competitive vs mode. So freaking addicting. I know there are Bust A Move style game players out there better than me, I want to play someone. Against some online friends, well, they don’t seem to have the natural ability I do with colored balls…
Plus, my Sega Saturn style ps2 pad has seen better days and I really should put it to rest. I’m gonna seriously take advice now from buddies that I gotta just switch to stick, meaning can’t play fighting games for a while. So, I wanna play some Puzzle De Pon!
yo i wanted to play martial masters but nebula dont play online mame you cant do combos on nebula the 2nd player side buttons are unsettable i hope theres a way to fix this
